Diapers exist for people who cannot control when business happens. They’re no meant to sit on a person after being used (parents please don’t let your baby sit in a used diaper). Rashes and worse can happen because of it. Don’t do it unless it’s like a fetish thing.
They do make diapers that are meant for longer/all-day protection. It's just as a fetish thing, that's just how a lot of medical grade diapers are. As the fact that they move moisture away from the skin pretty quickly, combined with taking necessary precautions, mine yeah you can have one on for a while without issue.
