The way to do that is start organizing and investing as soon as the election is over. Pay attention to local elections and support progressive candidates ages before the election.

not voting because of POTUS when there are dozens of other positions that have 100X the impact on your life on the ballot is some fucking galaxy brain shit and I will never quite understand how easily the general public is duped into condensing election day down to just the one position I guarantee 99% of you have some fucking nutjob asshole running for a board of education seat or a county commissioner that will end up winning by less than 1,000 votes, and like 80% of you will have some nutjob who will win by less than 100. I have seen literally insane pastors who think god is talking to them lose county positions by a dozen votes. So yea, not even showing up on election day because of the POTUS is fucking dumb as fuck.
People love to complain, people hate to do anything about it. It takes 30 min to research your local elections but itās dull and boring. Then when some nutjob starts funding alien anal probes using the city budget people just shrug and thatās city government for you. The apathy is astounding and sad.
My mom and dad are both very adamant about the importance of participating in the process. They always told me āif you donāt participate you canāt complain about the resultsā and I think about that a lot.

I genuinely think that most of the people in leftist spaces going "I won't vote until Democrats earn my vote" are psyops at this point because that is just not how things work.
