He's a silly little jokester and knew pizza was coming so he tried to make one of us come downstairs for nothing. I'm glad we can make him feel like himself with us, his malformities always gets him bullied at school

Honestly, I figured it was going to be horror as soon as the music sort of muted as they went downstairs, but I thought it would be in a different direction, like finding the knocking was coming from a person trapped in a hidden basement or something.
If you've watched any amount of horror shorts/tiktoks, the dark room after the knocking should be a dead giveaway that there's going to be something horror related coming. Everything about the shot taken from the hallway screams horror (get it?)
"Intruder"
The whole video seems to be referencing "The mandela catalogue", a youtube horror series about endless legion of hell pranking humanity by kidnapping Jesus
I both love and hate how well made this is. Luring you into that false sense of TikTok nonsense security, the sound design, everything is just spot on. That last image sent shivers down my spine.
The filmmaking skill this guy has is actually really fucking good
Using the lights and song to represent the safety he felt with his friends, slowly tuning away the areas where the monster could reach him
I know it's just a TikTok and I'm rambling but this is fucking chilling horror this dude has potential
Strong, up until the creature actually reached towards the first guy, wasn't quite convincing. Love the idea of the next guy getting up to check on him then hearing the same knock, starts the feeling of dread up again, but the awkward staring of the creature reveal was meh. Also, do not reveal your creature if the point is dread of the unknown. Reveal small aspects. The human hands in the top corner of the archway was good, genuine skin crawling, but it got let down by the rest.
Now if it were me, I would have gone for something like a skin changer angle where it uses the each victim somehow to get the next. Probably imitating sound cues. Like, maybe it really was dominoes, but the creature took the delivery driver before the first guy got to the door, and imitated the sound of the driver's knock to draw in the first dude. Then maybe it heard the guy say his friend's name, and that sound repeats until it gets a new cue.
