I hate how oversized and over designed the Scythe and Shadow are. TBow is borderline but not anywhere as bad as Scythe. It looks like some Final Fantasy weapon lazily ported into a private server.
Yeah all the gear from varlamore had been disappointingly bland. All the perilous moons gear has stupid Helms that I wouldn't wear if they were bis. I think the only set that looks half decent is the mage one.

This is a way more subtle animation suggestion than infernal or fire cape… the entire item is animated in those situations. Your visceral reaction is less precedented than what you’re reacting to lol

It still needs a slow circular glowing light effect around the sun symbol or something similar. Just a little animation to make it look nice. The coolest part about the fire and infernal capes is that they're animated.
Wish it had some cool visual effects for the effort you put into getting one. Like make the sun actually shine like a sun or make the bolts/arrows fired have some kind of visual effect
Make it longer. Give it a stylish taper. Give it a small glowy sun that slowly rotates when it's fully charged.Â
Don't make it have so much leather.
 Make it more golden. The boss is a giant golden metal centurion. So we should get a golden metalic quiver.Â

I was always in the camp that liked it, I just thought that it was goofy that the cape didn't pin up when the hood was on. When they showed a potential redesign that had that with the larger quiver I thought it was good. Turns out they just went with the one we got today.
I'd rather they take the quiver off than what we got today.
I honestly don't know why they don't poll the design for this like they did with the infernal cape. It would become the accepted design by everyone instead of this back and forth design iteration that is going on.

There’s no way in which this looks better than Ava’s. I know for some it’s an unpopular opinion, but I really do not like any of the new Varlamore gear aesthetics-wise at all.

changing the arrow feather colors and adding the gold strap at the bottom is a downgrade imo, but at least it's not so puny now

Totally agree, when I logged in I was super disappointed. I didn’t appreciate the hang at first but it quickly grew on me. Like someone else said, I’d even rather just taking the quiver off and having a white/gold max cape.
They should give the icon of the sun a pulsating glow. Just enough animation to catch the eye. The fire and internal capes are similar, challenge-based worn-equipment and they’re animated, so the precedent is there
Def, they need to add a masori kit for quiver asap. No matter how I look at the quiver now it’s still ugly with full masori. Maybe I’m biased because they did a really good job with the masori assembler.

I said the same thing. Like a light effects graphic for the sun emblem… pulsating, rotating flares, etc

Max cape variant is weirdly brighter at the top compared to the bottom and the quiver is just stuck onto the cape. Previous version was better, IMO.
