You are brushing wrong. You have to brush from your crown. It looks like you are using bad angles. Look up the 8 angles of 360 waves. That will show you what you are doing wrong. Also make sure you are not blind brushing. Use a big mirror with a hand mirror/ phone camera
Yeah what bro said. You can make yourself look like youāre losing hair by brushing wrong. Find your center, slowly work your way around it and itāll start to show. It can take a while. The gap you have tend to be brushed forward and down to the chin. It looks like youāre dragging the brush straight down instead
Also, be aware the crown and especially the right side can be a struggle like frfr. Fairly easy to do the crown when you identify where it is but that right side man, smh... I have to brush like 3 angles on my right side alone cuz of how the hair grows and even then it still is just barely doing much. Some people brush straight down and have success, but yea the proper angles are top priority.
Yeah 3/4s of my head was spinning Cept that right side lol just couldnāt lock in the correct angle til I started brushing almost directly straight down but with a ever so slight angle to it still and now my head is locking in in full
Also, gotta lay it down better, either with product, or with a durag, gotta moisturize the curls and lay them flat, brushing is a lot easier, once you establish where your crown is, but if your waves are bad, start over, donāt keep trying to fix crooked waves, it takes too long, find your pattern ( might take a few times) and if they donāt come out straight, start over
Itās angles, also the direction of your hair is what you gotta learn, like the right side is usually going at a downward angle, so brush that side down while the left usually goes more forward, so brush forward to make the waves come.
