That makes 1,000 of us! I told my buddy I was going to print little dicks and stick them to jeeps (he has one), but like on the headlights etc. Would be awesome if it ended up projects a big schlong on the road!
I'm convinced they buy them for themselves for clout. I own a Wrangler but I don't want rubber ducks on my Jeep. Mine is a moderately built 2 door and I haven't got one duck. Not that I care, I just don't understand what makes one Jeep more duckable than another... Hence why I believe people mostly buy them for their own Jeeps as vanity.
Edit: I received my first duck while I was at work. I gave it away to my grandparents to keep in their WJ.
I’ve gotten 4 or 5, 4 door wrangler. 4 were right after I washed it and one was after I took it off road covered in mud. One was a vampire, one was the same color as my jeep, one had a top hat, they were all “different” no plain yellow ones. My daughter takes them all.
I keep getting the from some guy at the grocery store that shops the same time I do. I’ve started parking in different spots to avoid him.
I don’t hate the ducks, but I don’t need 50 of them on my dashboard.
I have a 4 door wrangler too, I’ve gotten like 5-8 ducks in the almost 4 years I’ve had my car.
Most of them I got after parking next to another wrangler.
Also my jeep is yellow so it stands out
I’ve got a YJ that isn’t too modified, I’ve gotten one duck, I gave it to my tarantula, and that was when my Jeep was topless and muddy as shit, but I also see stock JLs with dash fulls of ducks, I don’t mind people giving me ducks, but buying them for yourself is cheating
Nah, I’m sure they’ve been left on their Jeep. Depends on where you park it really.
Our friend has a stock white Jeep and gets at least 5x - 10x as many as we do. But they drive hers everywhere and our lifted hyper green Jeep, with all the extra crap on it, never has doors on it so we don’t take it into the city or to the store nearly as much as they do. And thus barely any ducks.
I have a Wrangler and I don't understand ducks at all. Why are we buying more plastic waste to give to other drivers. It's the dumbest fucking fad that this community has come up with to date, it's actually worse than angry eyes.
If you see one with way too many ducks, I just assume that they bought their own. However people who duck jeeps like to choose the mall crawlers from what I’ve seen.
I don't have a jeep but have about 50 rubber ducks. Because I have a 5 year old who discovered claw machines. None are going on any dash of any car I own presently or in the future.
If I get a jeep, I'm only going to put my favorite ducks up, then as I'm given more, if any, I'll put those up. The rest of the collection will either stay with the focus, or will go to a section of my room.
When I say favorite I mean top three.
I drove a Wrangler for years but I never saw the duck thing, unless its something that started in the last few years. The "Jeep wave" was definitely real though
Every once in a while, I see a jeep with a bunch of ducks on the dashboard and I assumed the people just like ducks. But the vast majority of jeeps don't have ducks. And I had no idea it was some kind of social faux-pas to buy your own ducks for your jeep.
My brother is a jeep person, he's owned a bunch of them and has gone to meetups and offroad events and everything and he doesn't have any ducks and never mentioned it.
I wonder if it's a regional thing?
> And I had no idea it was some kind of social faux-pas to buy your own ducks for your jeep.
Originally, it was a thing to give someone a duck if they helped pull your stuck vehicle out, so it was supposed to signal, "Hey, this guy's a cool dude that helps out stuck people." So that's where the faux pas kicks in. Sounds like people got the wrong idea and just now are like, "Look how many ducks I can buy myself." lol
I see jeeps with ducks daily. They're always new jeeps, often $5k in bolt on wheeling accessories, without a scratch or spec of dirt in the wheel wells.
This definitely appears to have started when Jeepin became cool recently, and the jeeple people felt an overwhelming need to belong.
Whatever floats their goat! If someone wants to get 16MPG in a vehicle they don't use for its designed purpose and is sketchy at highway speeds because the doors come off (and they've done that twice) by all means!
Getting "ducked" was supposed to be when you pulled somebody out of a ditch or being stuck. Sounds like Jeep guys just started giving them to each other for fake clout. Weird.
That sounds like a viral marketing campaign. If I went and put a duck on a random Toyota, it wouldn't just become a "thing."
But the duck for helping unstick thing is real. But usually they were duck stickers. I just assumed it evolved into actual rubber ducks, but sounds like it's a separate thing.
Nope it's not. I've been heavily involved in the Jeep community for 25 years including being the president of a very large club. Don't know where you got your info, but it's wrong.

"Here's a bunch of automotive articles about how ducking works. It's totally not viral marketing pretending that one woman randomly putting ducks on jeeps with a note saying 'have a nice day' would somehow convey it had anything to do with Jeeps or that others should start doing it."
You don't understand how viral marketing works, do ya?
Grew up in the country and never once saw or heard of this nonsense in the woods, but I see ducks daily now. It's just shit to make people feel apart of something, and that's okay too. If you want to duck or have a secret hand wave go for it, weirdos.
Every single Jeep Wrangler or Gladiator in my works parking lot (at least 5) has a dashboard full of ducks. You've likely just not been paying attention this has been going on for years now. I sold my XJ Cherokee back in 2018 (dumb decision on my part) and I was seeing it back then.
Generally it’s more for jeep wrangler and that style. If you’ve ever seen jeep clubs, those kinds. I had a friend that would bring me around the club occasionally and sometimes people would give me extras a memoirs despite not having a jeep and I got the consensus to not put them on my dash. I still keep them in my car though. Overall it’s just a culture thing. I’ve seen some crazy ducks out there. I have a friend who has over 100 just sitting in a box and some of them are sparkly or massive or just plain weird.
HERE IS THE FILE FOR ANYONE REQUESTING! It's a remix of a rubber duck model I did not make. I just made the other part...
Do you have the STL, i need this for a coworker who is leaving for japan. He drives a jeep and i want to give hime something to remember about.
I have been looking for something like this
I was thinking the DUCK YOU one which is a middle finger duck but this is more funny lmao
"Jeep ducking" is a thing Jeep owners do; they leave a rubber duck on another person's Jeep as a way of saying "I like your rig" or "you're doing something really 'Jeep' with your Jeep" (like going around with no top and no doors in the middle of winter) or even just "Hey, you've got a Jeep! I've got a Jeep too!"
And then the recipients display the ducks they've received on their dashboards.
It's a weird little wholesome Jeep community thing. (Edit: Well, wholesome except when the ducks have massive genitalia, like OP's print. But at least he didn't Google what duck genitalia actually look like before modeling it...)
I don't either. I actually really like cars and have owned a bunch of them that I really really enjoyed, but I've never owned one for social attention. I feel like this duck thing is the IRL equivalent to "likes" on social media.
There’s a thing that’s been going on for decades with Jeep owners of putting rubber ducks on other Jeeps you see in the wild. Used to duck Jeeps back in the 80s with my grandpa at PowWows.
I just saw another post about a duck being left on a jeep and I was thinking, man it would be funny if someone crossed the duckey mesh with the dickbutt mesh. So close lol
I only realized the humor in the jeep dash ducks fad like maybe a few days ago after seeing them everywhere for months. 1499 more to be exact
Just checked with marketing. You’re correct for phase 1.
That makes 1,000 of us! I told my buddy I was going to print little dicks and stick them to jeeps (he has one), but like on the headlights etc. Would be awesome if it ended up projects a big schlong on the road!
I’ve seen the most average jeep Cherokee have its whole dash filled with ducks. I don’t get it bros
I'm convinced they buy them for themselves for clout. I own a Wrangler but I don't want rubber ducks on my Jeep. Mine is a moderately built 2 door and I haven't got one duck. Also creepy AF that it keeps happening and you have not met this person "Just a Lil' stalkin' fellas! NO BIG DEAL"
I have a 4 door wrangler too, I’ve gotten like 5-8 ducks in the almost 4 years I’ve had my car. Most of them I got after parking next to another wrangler. Also my jeep is yellow so it stands out

I have a stock JL and I’m not joking all of my ducks were gifted to me. I have like 5-8 of them on my dash. Don’t assume everyone is cheating lmao
Around here they probably are lol
Where are you from? I’m in Arizona
Southern Oregon, small town
Huh that’s weird bc I thought Oregon had a big nature industry with Subarus and Jeeps everywhere.
Where I am the only people that drive Jeeps in town are soccor moms with a few exceptions
Oh okay yea that makes sense. Where I live about 5% of all cars are jeeps. Most of those being wranglers.
Oh, that place.
Yup
Nah, I’m sure they’ve been left on their Jeep. Depends on where you park it really. Our friend has a stock white Jeep and gets at least 5x - 10x as many as we do. Why is rubber dick duck the first time I've ever heard of this
I wasn’t aware people bought Jeeps outside of vanity reasons
Have your hinges rusted yet?
I have a Wrangler and I don't understand ducks at all. Why are we buying more plastic waste to give to other drivers. It's the dumbest fucking fad that this community has come up with to date, it's actually worse than angry eyes.
"It's a jeep thing you wouldn't understand"
If you see one with way too many ducks, I just assume that they bought their own. However people who duck jeeps like to choose the mall crawlers from what I’ve seen.
I’m an elitist Jeep owner. I only wave to other TJ’s and Cherokees.
I'll come make duck your Jeep asap
I've received about a dozen. Only keep my top 1 or 2 on the dash that are my favorite. The rest I regive.
I don't have a jeep but have about 50 rubber ducks. Because I have a 5 year old who discovered claw machines. None are going on any dash of any car I own presently or in the future.
Why is that so damn wholesome?
If I get a jeep, I'm only going to put my favorite ducks up, then as I'm given more, if any, I'll put those up. The rest of the collection will either stay with the focus, or will go to a section of my room. When I say favorite I mean top three.
I drove a Wrangler for years but I never saw the duck thing, unless its something that started in the last few years. The "Jeep wave" was definitely real though
I’ve driven a few jeeps and this has never been a thing. I have no idea what they’re talking about.
Every once in a while, I see a jeep with a bunch of ducks on the dashboard and I assumed the people just like ducks. But the vast majority of jeeps don't have ducks. I feel like everyone in this thread is in on some stupid joke and I'm the only one being trolled.
Getting "ducked" was supposed to be when you pulled somebody out of a ditch or being stuck. Sounds like Jeep guys just started giving them to each other for fake clout. Weird.
Incorrect .. ducking started during COVID in Canada by a woman who simply missed hanging out with her Jeep friends.
That sounds like a viral marketing campaign. If I went and put a duck on a random Toyota, it wouldn't just become a "thing." But the duck for helping unstick thing is real. "Viral marketing isn't real" lol, sure bub. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viral_marketing I have a degree in business, nobody thinks it's "not real."

Yeah, I'd say 95% of Jeeps I see have at least a duck. I'd say 75% or more have 5+ ducks. It's absurd.
It’s unfortunately becoming a thing.

Had never heard of this before and just looked it up. What an annoying, stupid trend.
[Here's an article](https://www.motortrend.com/features/duck-duck-jeep/) talking about how it started and what the deal is.
Generally it’s more for jeep wrangler and that style. If you’ve ever seen jeep clubs, those kinds. If the mind of a Jeep owner was driven by logic, they wouldn't own a Jeep.
People duck jeeps that they like the look of its a jeep tradition
God forbid car owners having fun

Thanks for the link. I'm about to find out how many friends stop talking to me 🤣🤣
The link seems to be dead. Is there any chance you can reupload it?
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6600040
That gives a 404 error. Did they remove it from thingiverse?
Hmmmm works when I’m logged in. Let me look into it.
Okay never mind I figured it out. Theres a "Show NSFW Content" option in settings that was unchecked by default. Just had to toggle that.
Ahh gotcha! Thanks for the info. I hadn’t gotten any notifications that it was removed so I wasn’t sure.
Underrated comment
More like a Jeep WANGler right!? I'll see myself out.
Genius!
Do you have the STL, i need this for a coworker who is leaving for japan. He drives a jeep and i want to give hime something to remember about. I have been looking for something like this I was thinking the DUCK YOU one which is a middle finger duck but this is more funny lmao
OP posted it in another comment but [here it is ](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6600040)
Gotta start making stickers that say that + an image of this duck and give it to people who own wranglers.
Imma need to see that stl. Also have a coworker with a lifted jeep
Agreed, please
I’d like to request an anatomically correct corkscrew version, but keep the balls because it’s funnier
Then it wouldn't have balls either
can someone explain the jeeps with all the ducks or whatnot on the dash?
"Jeep ducking" is a thing Jeep owners do; they leave a rubber duck on another person's Jeep as a way of saying "I like your rig" or "you're doing something really 'Jeep' with your Jeep" (like going around with no top and no doors in the middle of winter) or even just "Hey, you've got a Jeep! tl;dr **Male ducks have corkscrew shaped penises and are known to be so rapey that female ducks have evolved reverse-corkscrew cloacas.**
oh my god that’s a lot of printing for an accurate representation
nah just print it upside down and don't support anything.
What if I don't own a jeep but have plenty of ducks to hand out?
Honestly I don't know the etiquette, but I don't think they have a Jeep Ducking Police.
Haha, hope not
It's a jeep thing.... you wouldn't understand.
i definitely don't. car culture is real weird. we're sold the idea that our vehicles reflect our personality.
I don't either. I actually really like cars and have owned a bunch of them that I really really enjoyed, but I've never owned one for social attention. I feel like this duck thing is the IRL equivalent to "likes" on social media.
I knew jeep owners were a bit nuts, but this duck thing is new to me. Guess I'll just add it to the list.
[Here's an article](https://www.motortrend.com/features/duck-duck-jeep/) about it.
I don't understand
There’s a thing that’s been going on for decades with Jeep owners of putting rubber ducks on other Jeeps you see in the wild. Used to duck Jeeps back in the 80s with my grandpa at PowWows.
It must be a jeep thing... r/whoosh
On ducks it's actually a corkscrew shape.
Jeep Wangler
Where's the STL lololol
I could provide it lol
Please share the stl, for sure, I need to print this myself.
Id love to have this STL 😂
I left a link in the thread!
Going to jump on the “STL please!” train
It’s been hours mate! I need to print some for work tomorrow lol
Please do
Definitely need my guy
I also need it. Lol
I also need that STL please
I definitely need this

Takes "Fuck them fish!" a little too far!
This is why I have a 3D printer
Haha same.
Just FYI, most ducks have a corkscrew shaped penis.
Spray paint it. It will take two seconds.
Duck nuts now a thing
The people at r/heep could use some of these.
STL?
Also need it. Gotta put my purple TPU to use.
I'd love this. Need to give this to my FIL. (By give I mean sneakily add to his collection...)
I prefer the liquid ass duck for the jeeple
Link?
Hear me out. Yellow tpu print with an embedded squeaker in the bottom
Haha! I have an unopened roll of white tpu and haven’t gone down that path yet.
I’ll never understand to need to put dicks on everything
It's just a guy thing... Idk us as humans have been doing it for a looong time.
I wish to print this
I left a link in the thread.
You're a literal angel
Dick, duck, goose
I think it's funny that all the bumper sticker and T-shirt jokes about Jeeps from Jeep owners are all basically "this vehicle sucks so bad"
Back in the day there was a game called dig dug🤔
Print in yellow and paint the bill and eyes.
Big duck energy
My Wrangler makes a weird sound... it's like, "duck dick duck dick duck dick..."
Oh boy. That's something for [r/3dprintinggonewild](https://www.reddit.com/r/3dprintinggonewild) right there 😅
Duck you
Duck dick
Knew one girl who bought the jeep for the ducks. Rubber ducks are way cheaper...
Needs 100% more self suckage. Love it!
I just saw another post about a duck being left on a jeep and I was thinking, man it would be funny if someone crossed the duckey mesh with the dickbutt mesh. So close lol
Why 🤦♂️
Because I am trolling a friend… like I said in the title haha
Big dick duck
I only realized the humor in the jeep dash ducks fad like maybe a few days ago after seeing them everywhere for months. It's about getting "all your ducks in a row" as in having your shit together and being ready. Cute if you originally came up with it but seeing it on literally every 4 out of 5 jeeps makes me gag.

Jeep Dangler
Jeep beach was this weekend at Daytona Beach. Over 30,000 Jeeps attended with 100% of proceeds going to local charities. The Jeep community is different and is different than "car culture". Ive owned 13 jeeps including the three jeeps I currently own (76 Cherokee, 92 Cherokee, 22 Gladiator) and have an absurd amount of ducks. This weekend alone I got 50+ given to me. My nieces have a blast ducking jeeps so with the exception of a couple cool ones, they will give away the rest Those of you here trash talking ducking, just don't get it, and that's ok. Just buy a bronco or something else. OP - funny print - id laugh if I got ducked with that.
I have a Cherokee and I wouldn’t do this kind of stupid shit. Leave my car alone.
lol, I don’t own a Jeep and wouldn’t do that to a stranger! That’s rude. I’m just doing it to a friend and his wife.
The pic is hilarious by the way
Well done!
Is this a print of the popular social media network DikDuk?
Version two needs the corkscrew
3d print the dick valve caps and place them on all the wheels. Especially the spare.
Around my area, I have only seen one single wrangler with any ducks at all, but of course it’s a purple Jeep driven by someone best described as “Pat” (older snl reference there) and their dash is full of them. They must buy them for themselves. It’s a horrid look.
Where can I get an STL for this? I have some coworkers that need to find these on their jeeps one day soon.
Wrangler owner here, not all of us are weird duck people
Make it cork screw shaped
It's too big. You need to make the Willy like 1/16th of the size
Rubber dicky, you're the one! You make bath time so much fun!...
Please send me the stl
lol where did you find this file at ?
Well, I got the duck from thingiverse, made the dick and combined them in Rhino 3D
How could this get down voted? Sometimes Reddit really sucks
Aaahh so do u still have the stl file for it and if so do I think u can send it ?
I've gotten three ducks and I just give them to my kid
Can you please message me this print 😂😂😂
I think that lil Ducky wanna fucky
