I play Mario Kart Tour (especially now with this tour being really important for me to get more rubies) and Neko Atsume. The latter is more of a 3 minute check in game every few hours whilst MKT you could grind for as long as you like. I also play some Crossy Road, but nowhere as much as I used to.
+1 for Crossy Road! I also don’t play it regularly, but I have my phases.
The only other game that I have on my phone and that I actually get very addicted to from time to time is TwoDots. It has cool effects and graphics and a lot of levels by now!
I'd recommend animal restaurant, love nikki, and hungry hearts. Love nikki is a dress up game. Hungry hearts is a restaurant game with a wholesome story.
Tsuki Odyssey for a chill game that feels like original animal crossing. The music is nice, there's furniture to collect, and you unlock new places, characters, and events as you play.

It's basically a small (and free) open world multiplayer game. You can customize your character, furnish your house, chat and make friends (you can also travel to different world zones to meet players from there) play a variety of games, go to school, go fishing, have a pet
There's plenty of stuff to do to pass time and while making money requires some grinding, getting gems (pretty much the LT of this game) is quite easy with the daily sign-ins

It’s the chicken in different seasonal costumes man, I keep coming back to that damn chicken LOL

Disney tsumtsum! I haven’t played in a while but need to get back into it
