For such a good defence, Cowboys hardly pressured Dobbs. Parsons was invisible, Hernandez and Colon did a great job on him. Colon is listed as centre backup but he was playing left tackle.

While I still think Kyler is more dynamic, there’s something special about Dobbs. He’s showing ability to make tight throws and extend plays. Very encouraging play from a “placeholder” QB. If he strings a few more victories like yesterday together, sky is the limit.
Deep ball accuracy is one of the hardest throws to make. A lot of its timing and often times we blame the QB when the receiver makes a wrong adjustment. However, it should come with more reps. Also, if a guys wide open, you might baby it a little to make sure the ball gets completed.
The Wilson over-route was a good example. OC likely saw something in the coverage and knew that throwback would be wide open. You see dobbs roll left and hitch back right and pause. Makes a nice easy dump throw to a wide open Wilson. If he leads him, he scores. But, on a throw like that, you get one shot. You better complete it.

Dude a big part of the English language and culture is being able to say things with context and it making sense. Just because he can’t articulate a definite sentence doesn’t mean he’s wrong. You absolutely can’t just assume that a performance against one team would just immediately transfer

Second game I think K1 keeps more forward motion, and he’s notorious for his 2 minute drills hitting the end zone, so you likely score another TD that Dobbs doesn’t in game two which slips by with the W
Dobbs is doing phenomenal but there’s some stuff that Kyler just does reactionary that Dobbs isn’t going to be doing.
Example: Look at the Raiders game last year and that insane comeback to put us into OT (including that 80+ yard scramble to run it in himself). That wasn’t Kliff who got that W… that was Kyler being able to rapid fire that O on his back.
I was at that game and it was insanity. From down 20-0 at half to that incredible comeback and insane 2 point conversion. K-1 brought out the magic. Dobbs is doing great and seeing Gannon turning this ship around really gives me hope for the future.
