Yeah… Marco has always been a disappointment. Hopefully Williams can develop. We’ve got to draft an elite corner. Has been a serious issue since Peterson left.
The team just isn’t talented this year. We don’t have very good corners or defensive lineman. The 2 most important position groups on defense. The coaches are working with what they got
Need to figure something out. Hes just not good and he also doesn’t care. He isn’t the one to train and work hard off season. He just travels and dresses up for fashion events, that seems his focus tbh
He’s being burnt because he doesn’t care about football, that’s what I’m saying. It really isn’t his focus. He could easily not be burnt by every receiver if he worked out and trained past the bare minimum. I truly don’t think he has passion for the game and is fine with his performances. It will be a liability once we’re trying to win games
He got drafted in the fourth round so I think he’s training clearly past the bare minimum to be CB1 for a team that had no problem whatsoever to trade and release players that did not fit the “passionate/high football-character guy” image
I think that Andy dalton pick he lucked into that somebody else tipped when he was actually burned on his guy got to his head. Made him think he was better than he was bc he became something to chat about for 15 minutes
Honestly same, he seems to do much better when he can sit back and watch the qb so that could work, maybe when Buddha’s back. But idk if he tackles well enough to play safety either
He’s done that a few times, he also ends up a couple steps behind his guy almost every play and has to play catch up and pray the throw is w in his batting range or it’s just a bad throw. Over the last 2 years almost every deep pass we give up you’ll find Marco was the cover guy

Marcos a bust we force into a #1 spot for some delusional reason. His best play of his career he was beat badly and got lucky somebody else tipped a pass that fell into him that he took home for 6
I mean yes, but going into year 3 I haven’t seen much improvement. He’s making the same misteps and Getting caught behind his guy as he was when he was a rookie. Still missing open field tackles, his game is let the guy make a catch and tackle immediately, but if the guy starts moving quickly he misses the tackle. He’s made a few plays, but the amount you expect from a rotational guy not a starter. I don’t know why Hamilton isn’t taking on the #1’s when he’s clearly the better player, and Ke’treal Clark is immediately looking better than him too. I know he wasn’t meant for this role, but they’re forcing him there regardless when they do have SOME options, tho not many, and it’s frustrating not knowing why he’s not improving and why their forcing him there

I don’t see how being burnt by a top WR shows that he does not care. He is not a top CB but he is playing above his draft position.
