I only saw him play Michigan and Notre Dame this year. He played well in the Michigan game but ND (who has Benjamin Morrison, a top CB prospect for 2025 who followed him most of the game) completely shut him down.
The big mistake he had in Michigan game was he didn’t fight through a defender so it led to an interception. He could have easily broken up if not caught the ball
I've been wrong before. I thought Cam Newton was going to be garbage ((he never came off his first read at Auburn) and he was a top end NFL QB for several years. I thought Rosen might be okay (not great, but I liked him more than Baker Mayfield. Turns out Mayfield is a low level starter or good backup, Rosen is out of the league.)
I thought Luck was gonna be the GOAT. He gets a half pass there for injuries.
Judging NFL talent is super difficult. And weirdly skill positions (we watch them more) are harder to judge on TV. Even if we watched the all 22 QB would be the hardest to judge.
If we get MHJ, I hope we get a seasoned top tier WR to show him the ropes and challenge him for receptions. I haven’t seen great results in anointing a player straight out of college as the de facto starter.
Really hoping we take him, I get the o-line need, but what if we draft Olu or Alt and they're just average like PJJ has been this year and our o-line struggles again. If you see a sure thing prospect like MHJ you gotta take him. At worst this dude is Braylon Edwards.
I've always been leaning more towards trading the top pick for a haul side, but after seeing that embarrassing display yesterday of QB and WR performance, I'm have absolutely no problem with Monti taking MHJ.
MHJ is terrible at 1v1 balls, he is afraid to get physical and will not fight through a defender. You guys need to watch him play before you just say he’s good at everything.
I know this is going to trigger some of the Kyler Bros, but Kyler is short… and I don’t mean that as a negative, but he clearly had trouble targeting smaller wide receivers this year ie. Hollywood, Moore. Dotch..
Trey McBride is 6’4 and they have an amazing connection. MHJ is 6’4.. Kyler needs big targets.
> a tall receiver with great hands and fantastic route-running
Sounds just like another dude we all know and love that was drafted #3 overall. No SB out of it, but I think the Cards did pretty good w/ that pick lol.
Marvin Harrison is a fit on any team regardless of any factors, he will be a true number 1 and instantly change any offense. Imo it’s like asking if Justin Jefferson is a good fit. Harrison will be a top 10-12 receiver in his rookie year. Guys a stud.
Won’t solve the pass protection to get him the ball. Waste of a valuable pick!
I think he will go to the Bears either #1 or they will trade back 1-2 spots and get him there.
How has this team managed to make me stress during a tanking year? Just let Clayton Tube play please. I NEED MHJ
Where did this hype come from? I honestly don’t think MHJ is the best receiver in the draft. Am I the only one who has watched him the past 2 years?

This is literally a “we haven’t made a pointless MHJ post in 2 hours” post.
It's not gonna happen. We are gonna beat the Eagles, and the bears. We are gonna draft at 6.

If the previous regime would’ve just listened to K1 we would’ve had studs for the jump.

We need a reciever Kyler can trust will be open or has the ability to win 1 on 1s. It's crazy that we havnt kicked the tires on any tall recivers.

Exactly
Reasonable take my young lad
MHJr and this is without hyperbole, can fit any offense you scheme up.
except for the falcons probably
Arthur Smith would find a way to mess him up.
He'd have him playing D line because he wants everyone to know he doesn't care about your fantasy team
Can he run 10 yard curls from the left side exclusively in Kliff "offensive guru" Kingsbury's highly detailed offense tho
Bruh, I’m ded. Lmfao!
In so much as a tall receiver with great hands and fantastic route-running fits with any team, I suppose

Larvin Fitzson Jr.
Sweet daddy cakes 2.0

Not an Arthur Smith led team lol. He misuses all the studs.
The Cardinals drafted Larry at No.3 with no long term QB so another team might do the same.
3…. Drafted him at 3
if commanders jump us, i think they take a QB as well
Depends on who is the new Commander coach, and what the GM sees. Starnger things have happened.
If Belicheck is running the team he’ll trade back for like 5 mid round picks because he loves having 10,000 of those lol
