But it's the thing you don't want, ie you have to upload the data to it. Would be interested if there's a solution that you can point to an existing storage blob and have it ingest the data that way

You can deploy the playground as a web app (+Cosmos, +additional services), but I haven't really tried it out in a production scenario.
