I've done tile for 30 years. I have a plastic pan/tub that I used for mixing my thinset and grout in. This tub is 28" × 18" × 4" deep. My cat has 2 of them, side by each, in our semi finished basement. Very little litter ends up on the floor, and they are very easy to clean. You can buy thes at Lowe's, Home DePot for around $7 each. Every 3 months, I empty them and wash them outside with the hose, let dry and reuse. Look for them in the masonry isle. There are 2 different sizes, the smaller is the better one.

That meat is for the maine coon, they eat alot. Our maine coons are both less than 10kg, girl is smaller than the boy ofc. If I remember right coons stop growing by year three, after that it's just weight management.
