Your chance is very high since demand is very high rn. You should take more classes to reach 150 credits and study for cpa exams

Appreciate it. I’m just willing to put my head down and grind it out to make up for what I lacked in college.

Look up the cheapest option to get the required credits. Where I live you can do community college for a lot of the credits is you already have a bachelor degree. Get the hours and be ready to hit of career fairs from your alma matter when you are nearly eligible. Have the career center look over your resume and give you tips. Send the resume to the big 4 and the next 20 CPA firms that are present in cities you want to work in. You will get a job offer. If you can't get in to m&a work right away, do audit. Get your CPA within 12 months of becoming eligible. Do two years as an auditor then transfer to advisory/transaction services (name depends on firm, but the m&a team).

After some research this seems like a common path. My alma matter is on the other side of the country so it may be difficult to do that. But the CC path looks to be the way, my boss said I can use some mornings as class time if needed (very supportive in helping me get it done).

Absolutely start working towards CPA - that is critical at this stage of your career. From there you can pivot and try to progress career wise
