It's actually, OOPS. It actually come from the British term upsydaisy. As you might say to a child as they have tripped or fallen. Americans say oops sometimes when they accidentally bump into someone.
I never even knew what WYD was, and this is the first time I've ever seen WWYD, so you've saved me likely years of not knowing what people are talking about.
I think WWYD first became popular as WWJD, “What Would Jesus Do?”
Personally, I like the song, “WWSD” by Ookla the Mok. (What would Scooby Doo do?)

No lol.
Wyd is what you doing. As in currently doing.
Wwyd is the hypothetical question. What would you do.
Example: wwyd if I came over and put my nuts on your face?
Not the same at all
what would you do / what you doing lord help these people
It helps to have kids and ask them what the fuck they’re indicating
Ah, so WWYD is the subjunctive of WYD. Got it.
Don't you mean LHTP?
mb
What Would Yoda Do
I think you meant LHTP
Comprehension is hard sometimes.
So, while you geniuses are here, don't suppose you could tell me what OOP means too?

I hate how everyone talks in acronyms as if everyone knows what they mean. The best is when the acronyms mean different things to different groups.

Shouldn't it be WWSDD?
I think because of the hyphen Scooby-do considered one word.
So WWYD is "What Would Yoshi Do? ". That makes sense he looks like a wise individual.
Iykyk
If You Kill, You Kill?
If You Kangaroo, You Kangadoo?
If You Know, You Know
WWYD is pronounced with a long W sound, that's the difference
You’re too afraid to ask, but you asked…
That’s literally this memes purpose lol
Yea but the title is the question. This mucks the point of the understood meaning of the meme; you’re not supposed to ‘have to’ ask.
You don't know who I am afraid of asking...
WWYD is What Would You Do? WYD is What You Do? Basically the same,.
No lol. Wyd is what you doing. As in currently doing. Wwyd is the hypothetical question. What would you do. Example: wwyd if I came over and put my nuts on your face? Not the same at all
Best way to get the right answer on the internet is to post the wrong answer and wait for the corrections.
Correct
Are they often misused? I see posts like "WYD when you walk in and see this" I feel like it should be "WWYD when you walk in and see this"
Yes. People are mixing ebonics in. "What you do" instead of "what would you do"
Lol r/confidentlyincorrect
