It seems you can only rehire immediately if it's a different building. (assuming you resigned and weren't fired) I go back a forth between two buildings in my area. It's been faster to resign and apply to the other building as soon as I get the email than to try and get a transfer.
Edit: I was wrong. I resigned from nights a little over 24 hours ago and just reapplied for a day shift and they let me back in. In the past they wouldn't rehire at my building without the 90 day wait.
Ok. I was wrong. I resigned from night shift just over 24 hours ago due to not getting along with that particular management crew. I just reapplied for day shift and I start again in 13 days. I'm back to being seasonal again but hey that's a load of stress off right there. In the past, they wouldn't let me reapply without waiting 3 months.

I resigned on the app and thought I put in my 2 weeks, but then realized that my badge didn't work the following day.
I had called HR over and we were shouting at one another through the gates. She asked me to hand in my badge, so I gave it to her. And I asked, "I resigned on the app am I good for rehire?"
And she simply just smiled and said "You're terminated, but good to go!"And ran off.
Which kind of messed with my head because usually "Terminated" means that they fired you. 😂
I'm trying to reapply for an AM now, and my applications aren't getting denied - but I'm also not getting calls either so I got worried that I did get fired.
If you are termed, or pending getting termed, you will have that 60-90 day wait time depending on the FC policy. If you resign, you’ll be able to reapply immediately, from my understanding. But again, if you are pending termination and you resign, that 60-90 day’s wait time comes into play.
I had just called HR and they told me that I was already eligible for rehire and it was in process from local HR that I should hear from them either today or tomorrow to get my job back and I noticed when I log in Amazon career portal which I used to apply. There was a 30 hour work week with $19.75 pay pending

Next time if you leave resign that way your a immediate rehire

I did resigned
Once you get your termination letter and it was a voluntary resignation, you can reapply right away.
How would I be able to reapply right away? I see that I only can call HR and ask them to let me come back to work
The same way you applied the first time from the website.
Problem with that is I tried to see if I can reapply and they don’t have my building as hiring right now

You will be okay, just reapply. I would recommend taking a leave of absence if you want to try a different job next time.
