I grew up in a country that anyone but a geography buff wouldn't have heard of and there's no future for me there. I have dual citizenship in two european countries but I don't like their governments and laws and don't call either of them home. I'm young and just kinda starting out my life, but I'm considering going to the usa cuz at least you guys have free speech and a solid steel way of defending your rights, and values of freedom baked into your laws. Just thinking through all the details and trying to get advice from all sorts of people, preferably somewhat likeminded, that's why I posted here.
but you have heard of cyprus and luxembourg.
where I'm from the police are bribe-able, but at the right price, that or you're a relation or friend of the president. only makes things easy if you're rich or diplomatic, and you can't make a successful business without good outside funding or contacts.
People in third world countries do not have equal access to corruption.
Montenegro? Malta? Andorra? North Macedonia? You said your first language was English and that you understand a bit of French, Russian and Polish. Like where do you live that's such a weird combination of languages. I'm thinking you're either from Balkan or the Baltics.
Lithuania? Latvia? Estonia? If it's European then it could also be Ireland, you could be of Russo-Polish descent.
Or you could be an African immigrant who's native language is English and you moved to Europe, but that doesn't make sense tho how do you know Russian and Polish? Are like a fucking Ethiopian Jew with Polish and Russian roots?
Maybe Latvian living in the UK? Or a Lithuanian? Belarusian? Are you fucking Belarusian?
Are you an Israelite? Maybe Kurdistan?
Maybe you're from Russia? Dagestan? One of those autonomous oblasts or Republics?
Maybe a Boer or a Rhodesian who lived somewhere in Southern Africa? Namibia? South Africa? Lesotho?
How about Central Asia? Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, yknow.
If you're not from any of those countries then where do fuck do you live? Fucking Sealand?
You mentioned so many places and got so close, but still no lol. I understand French only because of English schooling, and Russian because of the former soviet Union, and there's another language I'm fluent in that I didn't mention because nobody in Europe speaks it
I'm guessing Azerbaijan(Artsahk possibly as well), Armenia or Georgia. Most Americans have no idea where they are on a map. Ironic for most "Caucasians"
>probably one of the super small irrelevant countries like Cyprus or Luxembourg.
Bro, Cyprus is basically the Cayman Islands of corrupt eastern Europeans and Luxemburg has the biggest gdp/capita in the world. They are by no means irrelevant.
I'm a NH native and it seems the Sununu family line is keeping its libertarian roots alive and well. I moved to rural NC 20 years ago when Shaheen was in office. Back then, NC was relatively free but we're starting to get the "blue creep" and all that comes with it - taxes, regulations etc. I'm thinking, buy cheap acreage in AK, WY, MT and build a big fence. I'm so finished with US politics
BTW, as for Utah, despite the Mormons, they're still good people, if a bit strange. Also you aren't expected to convert if you move there. You might find a woman or two+ there and want to settle down... ;p
Seriously, CO is spent and past it's prime. Trust us, we live here. Honestly, if you want t forge your own future ad like the mountains go to Montana, Wyoming or Idaho. There's still freedom there. Assuming you want an actual chance and intend to work for it. New Mexico is also a potential but it's already 50-50 into the culture war. CO is lost already.
Born and raised in high mountain northern New Mexico. Just moved to Idaho after the covid insanity that has turned NM into California V.2. it's gone hard left now. It's a total wreck and no one there is happy or kind. In southeast Idaho the culture is waaaay different. People here are friendly and kind. They definitely hold freedom in much higher regard here. I can see a lot of people from California and other states coming in and trying to change things but there is more push back here.
You're not going to find much freedom near a city pretty much anywhere on earth. If you want freedom, go somewhere there aren't many people and the people who are there mind their own business. That means places like Montana.
While I agree about Austin (you’re dealing with either dirty liberals in Travis County or Nazi alt-righters in Williamson County), Dallas is a slimy place corrupted by old money and the suburbs where it isn’t is rather expensive. And Fort Worth can have an Austin vibe to it at times. I can’t speak about Houston, but El Paso and San Antonio (except for some of their suburbs) are also a no go for me.
Phoenix was nice when I stayed there, just stay away from the urban areas like you should do with all major cities.
Never been to Colorado.
yeah montana seems nice, but my impression is that the cities are small the people are drunk, and the winters are siberian... sounds great for a summer home if i get rich tho
Yeah I mean have you heard of the Free State Project? I think if you're looking for a fresh start you must go for NH as a libertarian. Plus it has some mountains, isn't far away from big Appalachian mountains and isn't in the middle of nowhere. From your other comments it sounds like the perfect fit.
I am libertarian so I'd like a place that respects individuals (at least to an acceptable extent that's better than the worsening socialist shit hole of my own country).
Of states that meet those parameters, I have friends in Arizona, Colorado and Michigan.
I'm coming from a hot, humid, tropical country in South America, so Michigan is honestly just too cold for me. That leaves the two I mentioned.
Yeah even irl I sound American to most, that's because wherever you go you find most English speaking people are American, and due to movies and the Internet, American culture is everywhere. English is my first language for other reasons, but I've had plenty of American friends my whole life. And I'm not tryna convince you of anything, your opinion is your choice, but you don't seen even open to the possibility that this isn't made up.
USA is one of the most difficult countries to immigrate to. Speaking from personal experience you’ll need to shell out at least $2000-$4000 in fees and probably have to purchase an immigration attorney for another $3000-$5000.
The USCIS requires you to have a proof of income (when I went through the system two years ago it required baseline $45000 per year).
Also, make sure you don’t have or do any of the following or you’ll find yourself rejected.
- any form of mental illness or recorded treatment for a mental illness (if you purchase an immigration attorney they’ll tel you that uscis will look negatively on this).
- any misdemeanor or felony convictions.
- any police reports with your name on them.
- social media posts showing you doing drugs or affiliating with any sort of political groups deemed unfavorable by the us government.
Most green cards in the us are issued for marriage. That’s typically the easiest way to get one. The easiest way to enter the country is generally as a student. This is generally only accessible if you come from money. Also, don’t expect to get a masters or doctorate degree in something useful(medicine or engineering) and be prioritized for a green card. The uscis isn’t efficient enough to move you to the front of the line for that. You’ll need an employer and some sort of sponsorship to stay.
just come over the southern border social security and debit cards plane or bus travel on the taxpayer dime free healthcare and school…soon to be allowed to serve in the military gi bill 3 hots and a cot….getvyour lady freind pregnant now the kids a citizen and free apartment snap benefits wic and 2500.00 for household linens….can get a bitchin big screen tv for 2500.00
Arizona has some crazy alcohol laws. Just one sip and misjudge a red light on your way home and you’re going to jail.
But I think that zero tolerance law is spreading to all the states. You can blame MADD for that.
The US is huge, both in actual geographic size, levels of climate variation, and levels cultural variation, so the place you pick is going to determine a lot about how you feel about it. You can maybe conduct some research into “best places for x” to get a better idea of what you like. There are many US states that are the same or worse in terms of government restrictions and bureaucracy as many Western European nations, and many that are much better. Thankfully, you can always get a rule of thumb idea for where those are by just looking at the cost of living.
Dude my family is from a first world Asian country and I for sure would have been a janitor if I had not come to the US. This country has its problems but I LOVE AMERICA. Come here, open a store, make your dreams come true my friend!
Depends on where you're moving from and why.
First, immigration isn't easy. Second, you need to take note of what you're giving up and what you hope to gain.
Most the people who bitch about the US are just failed losers, they didnt get fucked over by anyone or anything other than their own stupidity. If someone can come halfway across the globe and land here and set up shop without having any ties or barely speak the language then whats your excuse? Those are the type of people you dont want around if the shit hits the fan.
America is one of the better countries out there. Unfortunately its tough to make it anywhere without family. So there are a number of places that are not quite as good as America but not so bad that you should just uproot your life and move to a foreign country. If you live in Cuba, it's an easy choice, you'll be better off in America. But there's certainly places and situations where you'd better off staying where you are and improviing your local situation.
America will be the last of the civilized world to fall. We run the whole world trade, we will ruin every other country before ourselves. Not to mention we are a self sufficient country.
Sure, all the useless cheap labor shit. Our river system is bigger than the rest of the world combined. We have fertile soil to feed our population multiple times over. We can do without the $19.99 foot messager
I have a feeling that they wont be around much longer. We litteraly have the least popular goverment in history atm. There's only so much you can "fortify" the vote before getting the boot, despite fuckery. The new IRS Bill is going to blow up in their face.
Civilization is delicate in general. We really take it for granted. It wont detract from this republic being the single greatest political experiment we’ve endeavored upon to date.
edit: diction
It’s an upgrade from most places. Racism is much lower there than here in the Middle East. The income is very high. Jobs are easy to come by. Rent is high but you are generally able to find employment to pay. Freedom is high and taxes are lowish
i bet westerners are downvoting u but they probably don't understand how hard life is in 90% of countries lol i recently came to europe and it's like night and day. imo the default state of most countries in the world is tension, poverty, racism, homophobia, misogyny, and corruption, and people in western countries are blind to what the real hardship most people face is like and pretend their issues are bigger than they are.
You’re absolutely right. People who live in Scandinavia or the United Kingdom, etc. have never seen true disparity or hardship in their lifetime, so they have a hard time conceptualizing how good they have it, and how good America is compared to so many other countries like much of Asia, Africa, Middle East, etc. where racism, poverty, and violence are often much more common.
Plenty of people will also chime in with “I visited that country once while in college and didn’t see any of those issues” as if those issues would be in public view of a tourist.
Wrong. Americans are the most unhappy people in the world. Posioned food supply. No culture. Dating culture is shit. People are anti social. Families are toxic... plenty of poverty 30million worth. Legalized corruption. It just looks nice on the outside. People in there 20s and 30s are kiling themsleves or overdosing because they have no meaning in their life
CO isn't as free as you'd think. In terms of northwestern states, it's the most blue. Wyoming, Idaho, montana, and North Dakota are pretty free but it's hard to scratch out a living there. Little infrastructure means little jobs
Chose what state toy move to carefully. Be ready for a time of troubles, just in case, though i know we'll make it out better than most countries.
There are some good South American countries too though.
yeah im thinking colorado or new hampshire. and yes I'll start getting ready by getting a hunting license so i can bear arms without having to spend years getting citizenship
I say come, out of all yhe dumpster fire goverments I think we are the most likely to weather through this and be able to defend ourselves. I'd carefully decided what state you would like to move to, and see what is the best way to move here is. Easiest way I think would be to get or find a job that is independent and some times a company is willing to help you move here.
You may be able to message the free state movement and ask them for help about moving to the US and specifically NH. I am trying to remember this site I was using when deciding where to move. This one may help https://www.bestplaces.net/
I think that USA had its peak in the previous century and it's in the decline right now. Population is becoming more and more bipolar, economy is going to shit, etc. USA will be outrun by the other country in this century.
I am not happy to see things this way. I still like USA and I would like to spend part of my life there. Every American I have met was very polite and opened to chat, which is something I miss in my country.
I'd like to move there as well, but the thing that keeps me from doing so is the fact that Uncle Sam hunts down all US citizens to pay their taxes EVEN when not living in the US. This uniquely applies to US citizens, for any other citizen in the planet, if they live some x amount of time out of their country and change their tax residence to the new country, then they'd stop paying all of the old country's task. But this doesn't apply to the US, no matter where you go, Uncle Sam will keep looking for you.
Please correct me if I am wrong.
Is that only for unpaid taxes or are u saying they expect you to fund a govt you don't benefit from? Also if I become a US citizen then want to move elsewhere, couldn't I revoke my citizenship?
No. While america isn't free by a long shot, it's the freest country in the world. Where else can you have gay couples defending their weed plantations with rocket launchers and assault rifles?
More in terms of what? More jobs? Absolutely.
More democrats? Absolutely not.
Better economy? Yes.
More madness? No.
I’d rather have my country quiet again.
America has seen better days, but as someone who was once in your shoes, I am glad I came on over. Life here has been a hundred times better for me than I ever dreamed it could be. There was some luck along the way but I am blessed to live my dream life, do the things I always wanted to, and live my life the way I always hoped I would. Sure, we aren’t number one at any one category, but we score fairly high across the board. But no one will ever convince me that America isn’t still the best place on earth to make a great life for yourself.
No, don't let the butthurt commuleftists or the modern-women-ruined-america-shitpillers convince you otherwise. You're more free here than other places. The fact that I can say Fuck the Chinese Government, Fuck Trudeau and Fuck Trump AND Biden without getting arrested speaks truth to this.
Looking at your other comments and wanting to be near mountains, I want to guess Andorra. Small place Located between France and Spain. I do enjoy the freedoms in the US but honestly if I were to go anywhere it would be Switzerland, although I am unfamiliar with their immigration laws. Like others have mentioned there are many differences in places in the United States, varying in geography and politics. In my opinion something which has a good mix of libertarianism and mountains would be Alaska or Montana. Both are states which individuals can be very self reliant, and there are minimal infringements on one’s personal rights there.
The US is fucked… but we’re fucked because we know a level of freedom where we’re smart enough to know we *can* have a *much higher* level of freedom than we’re currently “given”, and *thrive* far better in a world more free than the current level of freedom we’re “given”.
It’s hard to desire true freedom when you’re just desperate for your next meal. Most of the US is fortunate enough to be able to focus on larger issues because most of our living needs are met, with the economy and state of freedom we have. It’s fucked and far from perfect but goddamn is it better than a *lot* of other places in the world. We really do have a lot more personal freedom than a *lot* of other places in the world.
People get stuck in the “well, at least it’s not as bad as that” mentality and that’s dangerous. That happens here too but I do feel like it’s less likely here.
You can be grateful for what you have and still know you deserve better. I feel like the US provides more of an opportunity for that mindset… as well as opportunities for success as well obviously.
You young, you got the opportunity, go for it. I am from czech originally, lived many years in UK, then US, also spent year in both Sweden, Italy. The level of personal freedom& business freedom is on completely different level in the US.
Do it man, just be sure you move to Texas or Florida, the states that actually still prioritize freedom. Plus you can shoot a machine gun in those states 😂
Ive lived in Spain, Ireland, Italy, Portugal and England.
I now live in Texas. Best decision I ever made, you dont only have constitutional freedom, but you have financial freedom too, at the end of the month you have a lot more disposable income than anywhere else. That’s freedom, to be able to choose.
We won the green card lottery, make sure you apply in October! https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/diversity-visa-program-entry/diversity-visa-submit-entry1.html?wcmmode=disabled
There's a very good reason the USA has the highest amount of people trying to gain citizenship of any country.
If you are willing to work for your success, and you want to make a name for yourself, there is no better country to do it in than the USA.
I'd never wanna live in Europe they're more socialist than we are. Though it's only a matter of time before all western countries are. Thanks to cultural marxist brainwashing.
If those things are important to you, Wyoming and Montana are great.
If you want you don’t like cold winters and want a big city with low cost of living, check out Houston.
Florida and Alabama are other solid options.
Individuals can be racist. Most people aren’t. Social media + recorded police interactions make racism seem more pronounced than it actually is comparative to the rest of the world.
Im an immigrant, lived 5 years in the west coast, everything is segregated, you can check out the “racial dot map” on Google and zoom into any city.
I moved to Texas and everything is much more mixed, the burbs are close to 30/30/30 white/Hispanic/black.
I have family members living in CA. I’ve been there a few times, andI’ve gotta say things went utterly shite. I even asked them if they want to move to Texas, but they say no due to the “blatant racism” according to them.
I immigrated from Czechia. Well, Czechoslovakia at the time. But I’m from the good side 😉 (I’m kidding Slovaks, chill)
Don’t do Colorado. Shits getting expensive AF.
If you’re willing to settle for New Hampshire, the entire Midwest is open to you.
If you like mountains, the poconos in PA are kick ass. North Jersey is beautiful, but far too expensive cost of living .
Right now I’m in Minnesota. It’s nice. Wide open, low population, great infrastructure and wages.
No mountains though. Gotta keep heading west. Or north
First day back to Reddit because OF THIS SUB someone reported a non hate speech as hate speech... and this is the first post I see.
Nice.
Well, tbh I want to move away but am stuck here. It's a bad idea to move anywhere without a good reason.
Definitely not worth it. Why would you wanna move to a place that's on the decline? Problem is all the TV shows and movies and propaganda sell you this BS about this country that everyone wants to go there to live like a slave, be broke as fuck, in debt for life, degenerate culture, cheap dopamine addicted society, crime on the rise, homelessness everywhere. Taxes rising, money losing its value, extreme polarization. It's just not nice bro, I really hate to see so many friends and family members who have moved there living these unfulfilling shitty lives but their Egos are too big and coming back to Latin America would make them look like a failure so they continue their slave lives... Really sad
If you have the money to move to the US, you can probably get the same freedom through corruption in another country -- and it will be a faster process. Remember gangsters and the wealthy in places such as Brazil and Mexico also have the right to bear arms, and freedom of speech.
Also remember if you live in the US and *anything* goes wrong, authorities will chase you to the end of the earth. If you wind up in trouble in the third world you'll probably be safe if you're able to return to your country of birth.
I would definitely not try to gain citizenship through employment only. That will be a long and treacherous road.
Just because something is worse does not mean that we have it good. Lots of states are actually quite comparable to Western Europe in terms of how draconian they are. It honestly depends on what things OP prioritizes, and where OP is coming from.
I made the mistake of thinking America but was Reddit, then I moved here and realize most people dont know what Reddit is, and the people who do.. you dont want to know lol
Depends on where you’re moving from, where you’re moving to in America, and what kind of things you value in your life
I grew up in a country that anyone but a geography buff wouldn't have heard of and there's no future for me there. Brutal honesty here.
UK, Croatia, Slovakia, Slovenia or Switzerland.
shotgun ≠ sniper rifle
I'm in the same situation, and same process, for the same reasons. I'm going to Arizona or Colorado next year. Good luck to you!
yeah colorado is def one of my options, and thx
CO is being subverted by Dem Statist assholes. There are *many* better places to go. Texas for one. Just don't go to Austin.
TX is overrated. New Hampshire.
I'm a NH native and it seems the Sununu family line is keeping its libertarian roots alive and well. I moved to rural NC 20 years ago when Shaheen was in office. Im beyond sick of it too. The federal government has causes so much harm to his citizens.
i don't think i could live without mountains, also the texas heat might be a bit much. and no im not gonna live in el paso lol
Montana, Utah, Idaho
idaho and montana seem empty, and utah sounds like mormon capital, so idk

I second this.
Black hills are awesome

seems you don’t know much about the places i mentioned. I’m from Colorado btw - we’re past our prime.
Lol most of what I know is from what I hear online and from friends, also the channel on yt that unboxes states
Move to Nashville TN. You’ll love it there m8
new hampshire free state project…its in new england …change of seasons access to mountains less people less communists etc etc
Texas is full, don’t come here

I just posted a different comment, but look into the free state project in new hampshire.
I cant believe no one recommend you New Hampshire.
The only problem is you’re surrounded by a bunch of socialist states. So as long as you don’t leave New Hampshire…
New Hampshire
Well you're objectively right so I guess I have to now...
Yeah I mean have you heard of the Free State Project? I think if you're looking for a fresh start you must go for NH as a libertarian. Arizona is good it's a combo of all those things
I live 30 minutes outside of duramgo Colorado on the NM side of the border. Love the area. Land is cheaper on this side though
Why Arizona if you don't mind my asking? I live there currently
I am libertarian so I'd like a place that respects individuals (at least to an acceptable extent that's better than the worsening socialist shit hole of my own country). Of states that meet those parameters, I have friends in Arizona, Colorado and Michigan. I'm coming from a hot, humid, tropical country in South America, so Michigan is honestly just too cold for me. or just coincidence, plus by the parameters I've described, there's loads of people like me

That’s funny, all the commies from America are moving to Europe and all the capitalists from Europe are moving to America
Sounds like a win for usa honestly
Dude my family is from a first world Asian country and I for sure would have been a janitor if I had not come to the US. This country has its problems but I LOVE AMERICA. Come here, open a store, make your dreams come true my friend!
Depends on where you're moving from and why. First, immigration isn't easy. Second, you need to take note of what you're giving up and what you hope to gain.
Just show up and claim asylum. You'll get a bus ticket to New York city.
anywhere but nyc please i beg you don't send me there to that asylum wait that makes sense now
Sorry but you made me chuckle with that last line. You made it click for me too!
New Hampshire is not that far from New York City.
Lol the millions that have entered from the south in recent years would disagree
Nah- c’mon over. It’s a dumpster fire right now, but if you can get here, bring it. No reason to watch from the cheap seats.
2 million illegals a month is flooding the southern border, the US can't be that bad
Depends on if you enjoy being part of the greatest society in human history.
Greatest society in human history, but that is also in decline and on the brink of a major caollpse, tho...
America will be the last of the civilized world to fall. We run the whole world trade, we will ruin every other country before ourselves. Not to mention we are a self sufficient country.
Self sufficient country that buys many good from China, that are now longer made in US.
Sure, all the useless cheap labor shit. Our river system is bigger than the rest of the world combined. We have fertile soil to feed our population multiple times over. We can do without the $19.99 foot messager
I would agree except it seems as though our government wants to destroy the country so idk
they don't want to rule a pile of ashes, they want to control the people
500 million. That’s what they want.
As bad as it seems, it’s no where near as bad as all other countries in the world. We are still sitting good.
I have a feeling that they wont be around much longer. We litteraly have the least popular goverment in history atm. There's only so much you can "fortify" the vote before getting the boot, despite fuckery. The new IRS Bill is going to blow up in their face.
The difference is that that's by incompetence in goverment, not geography and resources. Factories *can* come back.
yeah the debt and corporatism and reliance on authoritarian china are a bit worrying... along with the kinds of proposals biden is making
Right…I’m no longer willing to say we’re self sufficient…we were at one time
>we What a pathetic Statist.
Far from it
Civilization is delicate in general. We really take it for granted. It wont detract from this republic being the single greatest political experiment we’ve endeavored upon to date. edit: diction
Still is, maybe the last, greatest, freest country on Earth. For now.
Freest? That has to be a joke...
People in there 20s and 30s are kiling themsleves or overdosing because they have no meaning in their life
compared to where? like is there a place on earth that's better than that?
Look up 'free state project', it's in New Hampshire
that's awesome, and yeah nh was one of my main ideas of what state to go to, that or co
CO isn't as free as you'd think. In terms of northwestern states, it's the most blue. Wyoming, Idaho, montana, and North Dakota are pretty free but it's hard to scratch out a living there. Little infrastructure means little jobs
[удалено]
Wait isn't nh also blue
So oregon isn't northwestern?
Still although not perfect still the best.
The last best country?
Fair
Chose what state toy move to carefully. Be ready for a time of troubles, just in case, though i know we'll make it out better than most countries. There are some good South American countries too though.
yeah im thinking colorado or new hampshire. and yes I'll start getting ready by getting a hunting license so i can bear arms without having to spend years getting citizenship
I say come, out of all yhe dumpster fire goverments I think we are the most likely to weather through this and be able to defend ourselves. I'd carefully decided what state you would like to move to, and see what is the best way to move here is. Easiest way I think would be to get or find a job that is independent and some times a company is willing to help you move here.
what u think of co or nh
You may be able to message the free state movement and ask them for help about moving to the US and specifically NH. I am trying to remember this site I was using when deciding where to move. This one may help https://www.bestplaces.net/
colorado is pretty and weed is legal there
I think that USA had its peak in the previous century and it's in the decline right now.
You should check out the free state project in new hampshire, they might be able to help you out. If you want to go it alone, try montana
No. While america isn't free by a long shot, it's the freest country in the world. Where else can you have gay couples defending their weed plantations with rocket launchers and assault rifles?
Rocket launchers??? Now I'm not even questioning anymore I just wanna hop the Atlantic right now
> Where else can you have gay couples defending their weed plantations with rocket launchers and assault rifles? Everywhere, until police gets them.
Depends on where you are from and what you look for. Still, it is by far the best place to migrate, to be respected and prosper in my opinion.
More in terms of what? More jobs? Absolutely. More democrats? Absolutely not. Better economy? Yes. More madness? No. I’d rather have my country quiet again.
what
The best is yet to come. This is not the end tho it may seem so
America has seen better days, but as someone who was once in your shoes, I am glad I came on over.
If you have lots of money no. If you do not have lots of money yes.
Probably not a bad idea so long as you pick a “red” state, county, and city.
Where do you live now?
europe lol
Which country?
who cares, it's all shit
Sad but true. I plan on moving back to Portugal once we retire.
Mexico
Depends on what you want. Do you want a culture of liberty but not actually then the US is great
The US is fucked… but we’re fucked because we know a level of freedom where we’re smart enough to know we *can* have a *much higher* level of freedom than we’re currently “given”, and *thrive* far better in a world more free than the current level of freedom we’re “given”.
The US may have freedom of speech right now, but recall they also have things like the PATRIOT act or the Bank Secrecy Act.
Colorado?! Dude, no. Seriously. Tennessee or Florida. Oh, you want mountains? East Tennessee.
Is tn better than nh?
You young, you got the opportunity, go for it. I am from czech originally, lived many years in UK, then US, also spent year in both Sweden, Italy. The level of personal freedom& business freedom is on completely different level in the US.
I would 100% recommend it. We are a large and diverse country, if your first state isn’t a right fit, there are many more try.
I mean, this is just me pontificating, but, we're on the brink of a civil war, so if you're into that kind of thing, by all means.
Do it man, just be sure you move to Texas or Florida, the states that actually still prioritize freedom. Plus you can shoot a machine gun in those states 😂
Move to New Hampshire. https://www.fsp.org/
America \*
Move if you want. If you like it, stay. If you don't, maybe leave.
If those things are important to you, Wyoming and Montana are great. If you want you don’t like cold winters and want a big city with low cost of living, check out Houston. Florida and Alabama are other solid options.
Hell no
We need a passport exchange program between Europe and America. No refunds. Everybody gets what they want ❤️
Nope
Get back to us in 3 years.
Non-american here. I’m really curious, are the southern states really unfriendly to non-white people?
No
No. I’m not saying select individuals can’t be, but as a collective society, that’s definitely not the case.
Lol no we have a scheme here where one party calls the other one racist for votes.... it almost doesn't exist in reality
If you’re moving from Switzerland? Probably. If you’re moving from South America or asia? No
I immigrated from Czechia. Well, Czechoslovakia at the time. But I’m from the good side 😉 (I’m kidding Slovaks, chill) Don’t do Colorado.
Anyone telling you not to move to America, if you have a legitimate chance of moving here, is a fucking moron lol
We are full
WE WERE ALL
Definitely not worth it. Really sad
I wouldn't. I wish I had money to get out.
Why
If you have the money to move to the US, you can probably get the same freedom through corruption in another country -- and it will be a faster process. Remember gangsters and the wealthy in places such as Brazil and Mexico also have the right to bear arms, and freedom of speech. Also remember if you live in the US and *anything* goes wrong, authorities will chase you to the end of the earth. If you wind up in trouble in the third world you'll probably be safe if you're able to return to your country of birth. I would definitely not try to gain citizenship through employment only. That will be a long and treacherous road.
Depends on your reason for wanting to move here. Most I can say is you’ll be disappointed in most cases
Wait till you see what has become of Western Europe.
Yes.
