It's like it's a whole new villager 😭. I think it would be so cool if you let a villager leave and then maybe in a few months you get them while you're villager hopping and they remember you and want to move back to your island.
I could swear that in the older Animal Crossing games, they would remember you if they left and came back, but maybe not.
I know at least that they’d remember you if they were in someone’s town you had visited; they’d say they moved from there to your town! For this reason I was whacked for “stealing” my cousin’s villagers lmao. She was really mad when Elvis moved away on her’s, and suddenly he was on mine. But she could come and talk to him and he would recognize her, IIRC.

If you go to resident services, and go to the abd machine, click the redeem miles option and you’ll be able to buy a nook miles ticket! To redeem it you just need to go to the airport and talk to the dodos and there’ll be an option to use the ticket! ☺️

heya! if you're new to the game, you still need to play a bit. The DLC unlocks once Tom Nook calls you on the phone when you launch the game and asks you to visit the airport.
it's downloadable content! this means that once you buy animal crossing you can also buy more content in a pack that costs like 20-30$ depending where you're from! It gives tou additional things in your game
