My grandpa's dog would eat Cicadas till she got sick during the big brood years. Assorted cicada parts pouring out of a border collie's mouth wouldn't make as cute a video as this, though.
We had a tree that cicadas came out around every year. Had a cat that knew when they were coming out of ground. Cicadas would climb the tree and hang on until their wings came out. Cat would climb to get the bugs and eat them.

My dog eats the heads off. The worst is going outside and watching the body fall out.
