Post GREAT photos of clasps, overall piece, backs of pieces, etc. Use the macro setting of your camera. Good lighting. Crop the photos.

I specialize in jewelry from the 1700s-1920s and would be happy to take a look. Make sure you post clear photos of the front and backs and mention any hallmarks/makers marks. If you have watches try cross posting in r/pocketwatch. If you do go to an in person appraiser make sure it is one that specializes in antique jewelry otherwise they will only give you the scrap value- not the historical value (which often adds a lot)

Thanks so much for the tips. I don’t really have time to photo each piece and post but can say most of the pieces are supposed to be “watch fobs” (? the words used by the gifter), which I understand as accessories for when your pocketwatch is in the pocket and the fob helps you take it out of pocket
