I laughed at one it showed me the other day, too. It was the day after getting my watch and I had no data the previous day. No kidding I can "Do better" lol.
I've had it ask me about "why did handwashing stop?" in the middle of something too.
It was the middle of a cardiac arrest and i wasn't washing my hands because i was doing CPR.
Yet another workout i kind of wish it would auto detect. Great for my exercise rings, and probably good for the patient too!
side note: the accelerometer would be great for real time CPR feedback but i suspect that is a whole other can of worms with patents & the FDA.
How do you turn off activity reminders btw? Every time I wake up at stupid o’clock for work and I’m still half dead it’s really irritating when it’s going bipbop!………….bipbop!…………………………….bipbop! I just want to throw the thing across the room.
I laugh every time Activity messages me around 8:20 pm with “you can still do it, Joe.” I guess it’s not smart enough to know I just had 2 martini’s with dinner?
Worst is when I’m in bed at 11pm trying to fall asleep and it tells me to keep moving despite having greatly surpassed all my rings which are already set well above average (1,500, 60, 12)
I had just laid down and gone to sleep for a much needed and deserved nap, when my watch buzzed and startled me awake with a notification. "Time to Stand!" it notified me. So, now I let it recharge its batteries when I recharge mine!
I’ve had a Whoop strap for fitness & recovery tracking. Was much better than the AW. The Whoop actually looks at workout, sleep & recovery data of last few days and gives workout intensity advice accordingly. AW is only about completing circles and challenges.

Some guy commented once that his watch congratulated him on fapping...(Hand wash)

Hmm I've never seen it complain just stop counting down when the movement stops and then I just cancel it...but I'm a newer user too (9.6.3)
Sometimes it’s just mean for no reason 😭 I turned off most of my activity reminders because they were so insulting on rest days
"Just a brief 700 minute walk and you can reach your goals." at 9pm.
Next version of watchOS will let you set activity levels per day, so you can turn the reminders back on should you like :)
And you can “pause” it for when you’re sick for example without losing your streaks.
That’s great!!! tysm!!

settings>activity, and then you can shut off whichever ones you like!
Thanks 👍

I know you can do it!
Totally worth it!
