That plant with the white stripes down the middle is a terrestrial plant, it'll die submerged.

Looks great! Nice start. That striped plant will look great if you can get its roots in the water with the rest above water.

I know that plant isn’t supposed to be submerged and I also got it when I got my first tank and didn’t know anything. Surprisingly, those 2 plants are one of my most healthiest I have, they grew submerged and are now out the water and still growing. Not sure why mines didn’t end up dying

thank you so much... this tank has is own cover like a flap.. with light in it.. n the flap doesnt detach.. so i csnt have anythin outside water for this tank..but i.l do it for the next one.. and for that white ribbon i removed it from the tank.. some other user said its not aquatic..
