The only relevant difference we learn about in med school is how hormonal differences affect the later stages of brain upkeep and rewiring / learning. Women produce more dendritic spikes even at later ages in comparison to men, which is why men are more likely to develop schizophrenia. Hormonal differences also account for how mental disorders may present differently in men and women.

I think this makes sense. Society dominates so much of how we perceive the world. Look at gender. Society tells us what being a girl is vs what being a boy is when in reality gender doesn't even matter and is only given meaning in the social cultural context.

I don't think many guys are.
It potentially was not completely accidental. Obviously it's a massive over simplification, but there certainly are traits that are more common *on average* in females and more common *on average* in males. No person has exclusively "masculine" or exclusively "feminine" traits, so everyone's brain is somewhere in between. I'm not sure of what value there could be to dividing traits into "feminine" and "masculine." Maybe as a theoretical model to show how collections of traits associated with gender appear on a spectrum? And then you could look at the effects that genetics, environmental factors, and culture have on those traits, and how those affect gender identity. Actually that would be interesting, if nothing else!
But I doubt whoever made this was really thinking along those lines, especially since they refer to male and female brains instead of masculine and feminine brains.
And they also completely ignored gendered stereotypes like "men don't look at/ask for directions". See: my stepdad who refuses to look at a map when travelling and when we travelled when I was younger we had "adventures" which was code for we got lost.

Oh my gosh, as a woman whose job is to read and review historical reports, including checking over the maps and documents, for grammatical issues I find this hilarious. I also have to make lists for the things to check over. They’ve literally just said my entire job is for men.
I have little interest in dates and historical events AND I can spot the grammar issue in point 2 of the male brain. So does that make me an abomination?
I never understood the fiction vs. non-fiction thing. Both types of literature cover enormous variety of topics and focuses. Both fiction and non can be about the same subjects. To me, if the subject is something I'm interested in, then I'm interested in the book regardless of whether it's non-fiction or fiction. Also, "non-fiction" doesn't mean non-biased or even truthful.
I always figured the people who make "fiction vs. non-fiction" a thing are the same people who make "art vs. science" a thing: they don't have a great grasp of either one.

Some of these points like both number 5s have a basis in psychology. A lot of the rest are stereotypes. Also even with the psychology ones it’s not absolutes and any gender could identify with any point. The problems start when like ever GPS and map app was programmed from the male brain perspective with street names and numbers. More recently there’s been some apps that account for the female perspective with visual landmarks

... well, according to this I'm a guy, but in reality I'm an afab demigirl (in my case, girl/neutrois bigender) and autistic. Though, I prefer to read sci-fi/fantasy over non-fiction when it comes to books, the escapism is real nice. I'm not as keen on reading realistic fiction. I watch realistic fiction tv to kind of help learn about people.

Oh my gosh, as a woman whose job is to read and review historical reports, including checking over the maps and documents, for grammatical issues I find this hilarious. I also have to make lists for the things to check over. They’ve literally just said my entire job is for men.

I never understood the fiction vs. non-fiction thing. Both types of literature cover enormous variety of topics and focuses. Both fiction and non can be about the same subjects. To me, if the subject is something I'm interested in, then I'm interested in the book regardless of whether it's non-fiction or fiction. Also, "non-fiction" doesn't mean non-biased or even truthful. I always figured the people who make "fiction vs. non-fiction" a thing are the same people who make "art vs. science" a thing: they don't have a great grasp of either one.

Out of these 10 points, 2 applies to me and they are one of each gendered brain
Some of these points like both number 5s have a basis in psychology. A lot of the rest are stereotypes. Also even with the psychology ones it’s not absolutes and any gender could identify with any point. The problems start when like ever GPS and map app was programmed from the male brain perspective with street names and numbers. More recently there’s been some apps that account for the female perspective with visual landmarks
