As a hawks fan, Iām rooting for Dave Cannales. Hoping yāall turn the ship around. Itās scary (but in a good way) how similar Dave sounded to Pete š
The good olā Denver Broncos!! Peyton fuckinā Manning! Been a fan since birth and even more so when my dad was a journalist for the local paper (Iām dating myself, I know) and interviewed almost all of the back to back Super Bowl players.
Exactly! He wouldnāt have to get paid if they didnāt just give up on him. Some of his best football was played in the last year of his career. 55 touchdown season anyone??
Jacksonville Jaguars, My family moved down to that area around the same time they were awarded a franchise, so I ended up wearing a Mark Brunell jersey as a little kid, and it just spiraled from there.
GBR! Excited about the upcoming season for the first time in forever. I used to go to every home game, I haven't been in a couple of years...going to get back to it this fall!
I miss the old days of I formation offense crushing the souls of opposing defenses:
>Tom Osborne understood what made option plays (and other run plays) work and what had stopped them. So, he ran them ā he ran almost all of them ā but only when they would work. He checked to them versus vulnerable defenses. His smash mouth runs, run action passes, and QB runs kept defenses from mirroring properly against his options. The result was staggering totals of rushing yards. No matter how successful the options, etc. had been in their individual heydays, they were never better than when Coach Osborne āplayed a medley of tunes.ā What would stop it? The only thing that could stop Bill Walshās passing attack, which was retirement of the man who made it work.

I lived in KC years ago and thru friends I became a Chiefs fanā¦back when they were crap at best. Still a Chiefs fan and glad theyāre finally seeing some success.
KC, simply because of where I'm from. That being said, I have no Chiefs gear and am not a die-hard fan, but I'll still root for them.
Now for college football, that's a different story. I'm a Mizzou Tiger through and through
The Philadelphia Eagles. I love their āus vs the worldā aura they have around them. They are hated as much as their rival Cowboys, and that hatred is what drives me into a victory-thirsty rage every Sunday when those midnight green jerseys race out of the tunnel at Lincoln Financial Field.
Dallas Cowboys. Dad immigrated to Dallas from Brazil so his introduction to football was a roommate who was a Cowboys fan.
Unfortunately, his other roommate was a Chiefs fan.
Yes, I hate him for choosing the first roommate every moment.
Vikings, because I am legally obligated to favor them as a Minnesotan. In no way does their historical record matter.
I am also legally obligated to despise the Packers, an historically better team.
The law is silent on my hatred towards the Bears and Lions since those franchises suck. Therefore, my opinion on them is moot.
An obligatory "fuck the Patriots" is in order here.
I grew up in the Chicago suburbs. I was 8 years old in 1985 when the Chicago Bears had a world-beating season and I've been a fan ever since. I married a 49er fan who went to USC, and our son was born in LA and likes the Rams.
We told him very sternly that as long as he lives under our roof there will be no rooting for the Raiders, Packers, or Pete Carroll.
My favorite team was a team that changed it name and uniforms while keeping it's colors. They haven't been to or won a super bowl in over thirty years.
I have a new team every year that is my team now. My fantasy team.
Lived in the south and not in a state with an nfl team. So I picked the Steelers because my momās side is from western PA and are big Pittsburgh sports fans. So all my favorite pro teams are from Pittsburgh because of my moms side
Go Pack Go! I'm from Bama so I took that as I get to pick whoever. I didn't like the cowboys or the patriots. Too band wagon and I saw that enough from Bama fans (WDE). I remember considering the Saints but meh. Didn't like em. As a girl I picked the team with my favorite color, dark green. It worked out alright. Plus cheese. Who doesn't love cheese?
Bengals.
I have no connection to Cincinnati at all. My familyās all NY sports fans but I fell in love with the Reds (MLB) because I watched a bunch of old games from the big red machine era.
Some of us want our coach fired of he loses the wrong game again, even at consistent 11-1 seasons. It's natural for the Browns and Bengals to be failures. It's harder to be a consistent also-ran while teams you hate win trophies that count.
My dad and I didn't have anything in common except for one thing, the 49ers. Somehow I inherited that much from this guy. In the house I grew up in, Bill Walsh was God.
This team last won the big game, the first year that I played little league. Pop Warner. It was the first year that I actually watched, and it was an easy team to love, because we were the best.
It's been a long hard road ever since, my friend. But I never stopped being a fan. For some dumb reason, I still love the game.
I remember watching the 49ers destroy the Chargers in the Super Bowl as a 9 year old in 1994-95 and thinking, they're going to win another 5 more Super Bowls!
Watching them lose 3 Super Bowls has been very humbling. :(
Da Bears.
The Bears are so back
I fricking hope šš¤
Buffalo Bills baby circle the wagon
Go Bills!
Carolina Panthers, it's been a rough few years..
As a hawks fan, Iām rooting for Dave Cannales. Hoping yāall turn the ship around. Itās scary (but in a good way) how similar Dave sounded to Pete š
Browns baby
I donāt wanna talk about it.
Same but being raised in a UGA household and going to Clemson certainly eased the pain.
28 to 3
New England Patriots. Blessed to be from NEš
The good olā Denver Broncos!! Peyton fuckinā Manning! Been a fan since birth and even more so when my dad was a journalist for the local paper (Iām dating myself, I know) and interviewed almost all of the back to back Super Bowl players.
Even as a 49er fan, [this scene](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lFYcXi5a1Lo) always makes me smile.
Ha! Yes I love it š
Nobody tell him Manning is a Colt. He just wore a Broncos jersey to get paid.
If he was such a Colt he wouldve won his last superbowl with them and not the Broncos
Exactly! He wouldnāt have to get paid if they didnāt just give up on him. Some of his best football was played in the last year of his career. 55 touchdown season anyone??
Him is a her and idc! Another teams trash is another teams treasure
Steelers. All damn day.
I wanna downvote as a Ravens guy.
Lions. It's been a mostly bleak experience.
Vikings fan here. We don't hate you, that being said FTP! You guys did good last year.
FTP!
Bears fan here. Downhill since '85. FTP!
I have a strange feeling that Detroit is going to the Super Bowl this season

The Pittsburgh Steelers
Kansas City! I was a fan in the dark days of the 2000ās so I see all of our recent success as the scales of justice balancing out
Chiefs...I have been a fan since Steve DeBerg broke his pinky. I am a bandwagon Swiftie though.

Giants
(šŖšŖšŖšŖšŖšŖšŖšŖšŖšŖ)
I'm a Minnesota Vikings fan, despite being born, raised, and currently in South Carolina.
Washington
Grew up near Pittsburgh so that should answer the question. My interest in the NFL as a whole is no where near where it was in the 90s or 00s.
I grew up in the Chicago suburbs. I was 8 years old in 1985 when the Chicago Bears had a world-beating season and I've been a fan ever since. Patriots
Jaguars and it is rough
San Francisco 49ers. Red and gold.

Unfortunatelyā¦the Bears.
Kansas City Chiefs!
Used to be a Raiders fan until they moved out of state. Now Iām teamless and donāt really watch football. Well, that and the CTE issue.
Seahawks baby, Metcalf's the man!
Titans. There are dozens of us, and most of them only appeared in the past few years and disappeared last year
Iāve always dreamed of supporting a professional football team, but for some reason Iām a Jets fan
I don't watch NFL, I used to watch it a little bit with my dad when I was little, but I've always liked the Steelers.
Lions for my NFC team and Bills for my AFC. Because neither make it so far I usually root against the Packers and Chiefs
The Pats, born and raised in Tx
steelers!! and tbh I canāt relate I think I would get into a fist fight over them. just a typical trashy american
Steelers, but Ohio State has always meant more to me than any pro team.
OSU is the only thing keeping Ohio sports fans sane. Change my view.
Some of us want our coach fired of he loses the wrong game again, even at consistent 11-1 seasons. It's natural for the Browns and Bengals to be failures. It's harder to be a consistent also-ran while teams you hate win trophies that count.
Columbus crew
Las Vegas Raiders
I grew up a Vikings fan, but I have cardinals tickets and have been to more Arizona games.
LA Rams, since the Roman Gabriel/Jack Snow era
The Bengals. I will never forgive my dad for making me a fan.
My dad and I didn't have anything in common except for one thing, the 49ers. Somehow I inherited that much from this guy. In the house I grew up in, Bill Walsh was God. Local. I'm not huge about football so I go local. Baltimore Ravens. I choose the O's with baseball. I love my hometown.
I hate all of them. Itās so barbaric.
