Unless it's really really cheap for you, nah. Too short (4 hours) and ZERO replayability. Overrated game in my opinion.

Sparky81

It's a story based walking sim. Little to no action. More of a visual story. It's up to you if that's your thing or not.

Firewatch is a strange one, and very polarizing among fans and detractors. I did not like it. I am a long time gamer, and my personal opinion is that Firewatch isn't really a game. It is an interactive story. You walk around the wilderness map going where the story tells you to. The world is not open, and there are no side paths. There's nothing to collect and no puzzles to solve. It could be helped by a good story, but in my opinion the story was very anticlimactic and felt like the rest of the experience to me... a bit of a dirty trick. If you want a good interactive story game, I would recommend TellTale games like the Walking Dead series. I find those stories to be more entertaining, and the experiences have light game mechanics and let you affect the story with your actions. Firewatch is a rigid experience on a rail that just happens to give you active control of a character and lets you press 'W' to walk from place to place.
