He'll be fine. Shit I'm 5'7" and way out of shape. Over the shoulder would be no problem and bridal carry I could comfortably do long enough for a photo op, over a threshold, whatever stuff like that.
I'm 6'3" and around 200 lbs, 140lbs really won't be heavy if your guy is fit. If he's 225 lbs and not obese, I bet he could bridal carry me around lol.

I also dated some tiny ass girls, too. My HS GF was about 115 and I was around 170 and used to bench press her (mostly just to touch her butt in a way her mom wouldn’t get mad, but…)
I am 6'4" and my wife is 4'11", 130 lbs. I am NOT in shape at all and I can carry here, though with some difficulty, if he is in good shape he should have no problems at all.

Bridal carry is kinda difficult for a lengthy amount of time even carrying 100lb person. Shoulder carry is fairly easy though.

For a fit guy? That shit is easy. I'm 5'9" and weigh less than that and can easily bench press that. Could overhead press you with that weight.
