This is what inspired the question! Was driving home from work and it was on. Air drumming and surprised I didn't get pulled over! Bow wow wicka wicka wow wow
Back in the 70s, when that song was a staple on rock and pop radio stations, my brother, 17 at the time, called the radio station and asked them to play that song and dedicated it to all the highway patrolmen. Surprisingly, they did, including the dedication.
I sang that song at Karaoke one night, and that’s when it dawned on me that there’s a 4 minute instrument in the middle. Definitely better as a driving song.
Ex Wife ran a karaoke show, guy gets to the break, no hesitation, walks to the bar orders a beer, walks back to the stage. Drinks leisurely until its close, downs the rest, nails the cue.
No on even remembers if he could sing, the place just erupted.
Breaking the law. Stopped listening to it when I spun out hit a sign and almost went over a cliff then the next day my mate spun on the same corner in the same car listening to the same song......
I would like to humbly submit ['In the Hall of the Mountain King' by Edvard Grieg](https://youtu.be/4nMUr8Rt2AI), performed here by the Seattle Symphony.
Came here to say this.... I had a beagle that rode with me often named Maverick and we would play Danger Zone in true corny fashion. He knew that was his song and would be hyped. Miss that good ol dog
*I wonder if you know how they live in Tokyo*
*If you see me, then you mean it, then you know you have to go*
*Fast & Furious (drift, drift, drift)*
*Fast & Furious (drift, drift, drift)*
I was JAMMING to this one day while driving home. Restarted the song to do it again. Got to my neighborhood before the solo hit. Said fuck it and decided it was time for an evening drive. Blew right past my turn.
How is this so far from the top. This one is the all time "oh shit I'm driving 95 now" song. You don't even realize it's happening either. One second it's a nice slow melody, suddenly you're FLYING and there's a time gap in your memory where you have no idea how that happened. The song just guides you in, it's nuts.
That'd be amazing to hear. You're just driving back home from work or something and you hear in the distance
^("move bitch! get out the way! Get out the way, bitch! Get out) the way..."
"Huh? What's that coming up? Is that a-"
"Move bitch! Get out the way! GET OUT THE WAY, BITCH! GET OUT THE WAY!"
"Oh- ambulance, knew it. (pulls over)"
One of the guitarists, Herman Li, routinely reviews people on YouTube doing covers of it in all kinds of styles and stuff. He seems pretty entertained by it!
Most of Rammstein's stuff is AWESOME lead foot music, with a few notables:

I thought I'd see it but I haven't yet so I'll chip in with- the chain by Fleetwood Mac (from the bass solo into guitar solo). It's been the intro music to formula 1 in the UK for a very long time so definitely has a connotation with speed for me
Free Bird, a bottle of Jack Daniels and my car keys. Name a better trio, I’ll wait.
EDIT: it was a joke guys relax, I don't even drink Jack Daniels, its easier for me to put beer cans into my cup holders
Also QoTSA - "You think ain't worth a dollar but I feel like a millionaire". I know it's supposed to be poking fun at "hardcore" but that shit fucks so hard.
It's the song that plays when you get into your car accident.
Filmed in slow motion. Lots of glass shattering across skin and dash boards. No sounds except for the song. Lots of camera rotations.

They were gonna play it *eventually*, but with a dedication like that their hands were practically tied.

Definitely, I was a young driver when it came out and you literally start speeding up as soon as the beat kicks in.
Breaking the law. Stopped listening to it when I spun out hit a sign and almost went over a cliff then the next day my mate spun on the same corner in the same car listening to the same song......
It's probably the road that is cursed.
I like this comment. I feel it absolves me of responsibility!!!!!.
