I guess you mean social media? I wouldn't want to go back to a time without google maps for example. I know people can manage to navigate without it, but it's just extremely useful if you're in an unknown area. Saves a lot of time and I don't have to risk talking with strangers too much.

Then came instagram and somehow many people left FB and they started making awful decisions and it went downhill from there.
Social media, especially regarding teenagers. Youth already have enough on their plates as it is. Formidable years of the developing mind. Like with anything, too much of a good thing can be bad. The stories I hear from my child about highschool drama. I seriously wonder if there's any correlation between that and the education rates in America.
Ultimately it's up to the parents (and their own damn business) on how they choose to regulate smart phones with their kids.

A younger and more impressionable mind that's still navigating through life and figuring out where they stand in the world is is easily susceptible to influence. Both good and bad. We as a species cause each other so much misery and deprivation, we're destroying the only planet we have, if shit isn't on fire it's flooding, the price of everything is going up non-stop because we've convinced people of this fever dream of endless growth that just isn't possible, people even in the most privileged countries are suffering, but we'll still turn around and say it's the only viable way to run the world.
I really, really don't think humanity is going to survive the long haul, and that's probably a good thing. We're stupid and greedy and broken. Something needs to replace us.
