That your self-image locks in somewhere between 25 and 35. You look in the mirror and, sure you can get whatever needs done, but who the hell is this guy? I should have a lot more hair.
Also the time dilation is a bitch. That thing you did a little while ago? Yeah, that was ***ten years ago*** and half the people involved are dead or otherwise out of the picture.
It's crazy how time feels like it goes faster and faster as you get older. I guess it makes sense if you think about the fact that a year relative to your whole life gets shorter and shorter as you age. A year is 20% of my daughter's entire life. At 38, it's a much smaller portion of my own.
My grandfather once told me that for a while you’re going to funerals constantly.
Then eventually you stop going to funerals, because there’s only one left.
Yeah the 90s for me I buried everybody my sisters my brother-in-laws my father and my mother. No one ever tells you how to act at a funeral or what to do just kind of stand there like a lump. I miss them all everyday.
The soreness.
Exercise used to be for fun or recreation.
As you get older, it's how you ensure you can get your old ass off the ground if you fall over.
Having less energy than I used to, random aches and pains in my knees and lower back, and taking longer to recover from soreness or minor injuries. That and having to pay bills.
When I was younger I had friends and the were with how to keep friendships, today I turned 42 and the only happy birthday was from an automated subscription that I have with a bill collector

This has been the toughest for me. I see pictures of myself and I’m like “who is this fat balding bozo? Oh wait, that’s me…”

My grandfather once told me that for a while you’re going to funerals constantly. Then eventually you stop going to funerals, because there’s only one left.
That's accurate.

Watching everyone else around you get old.
The grey hair, for a while it was also no longer getting asked for id when buying booze
Hip and joint pain
Sickness comes easier.
Death coming closer
when your jealous to your younger self
Knowing that you can try to impart hard-acquired wisdom to younger, dumber, kids, but they lack context and rarely listen.
The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.
Time passing faster every year.
The fysical disabilities that sneak in.
The soreness. Exercise used to be for fun or recreation. As you get older, it's how you ensure you can get your old ass off the ground if you fall over.
I take pills to stay alive... not to party, anymore! LOL
My body aching
Having less energy than I used to, random aches and pains in my knees and lower back, and taking longer to recover from soreness or minor injuries. That and having to pay bills.
Aches and pains. Seems to be a new one cropping up every day. And yes, I am physically active.
Your looks go
