Giving blood the woman said "oh my God, you have the most beautiful veins. Everyone come look!" Never thought I'd be so flattered over veins that made their lives easier

MiserableKink

Someone get this person some Fent!!

Malbranch

Lol, I had one at a hospital for some sort of blood test, I don't particularly remember what for: "I would be pretty horrible at my job if I was able to miss a vein that big,"

Crimbly_B

I work in transfusion services. A hard vein is good to find. Or the other way around.

Melodic-Role-1152

Was watching the sunset in the car at the beach with my toddlers. Was playing with my girls and I heard a soft voice from behind say “you’re such a great mother, truly” 🥹❤️ I’ve had such a tough year and navigating single parenthood. I’m barely scraping by, but trying to give my children a dope childhood that I never was able to experience myself- and not let them feel the weight that I bare on a daily basis. It put wind under my wings feeling validated that my efforts were seen by a total stranger.

GapingAssTroll

The fact that that's the best compliment you've received, shows how great of a mother you really are

Technical-Poem-5083

This is true.

SavingsEuphoric7158

Good for you!!Being a single parent is hard.So I think your amazing to❤️🥰🙃

Big_Mango_2146

🎵You let him hit it raw, you didn’t have second thoughts, now you a single mom🎵

CarlSpencer

Beautiful woman to me at an artshow I was in: "I wish that I could live in your paintings!" I'm an amateur artist so I'm STILL high from that after two weeks!

mrs_catthomas

A friend once said "I always feel really happy and energized after hanging out with you." It's nice to hear that I'm a net positive in someone's life.

Far_Breadfruit_6537

Beautiful! You probably do have that energy :)

Hey__Jude_

I had a student in Special Ed tell me "Ms.\_\_\_\_\_, you were born to help me".

Bur_Nerd

the immediate tears I just had to hold back omg

castfire

Oh my *god* 🥺

asterkd

I’m a labor nurse and a patient told me a few months ago, “you make it easy to advocate for myself.” truly exactly why I entered this profession!

brainunscrambled

Recently one of my patients told me “I can tell you really want to take care of people, you’re doing a good job.” 😭 The personal connections are what keep me going!

llcucf80

Many people have called me the "nicest but weirdest" person they've ever known. I actually love that as a compliment

Ok_Long_4507

“Do you come with that” I was holding a fire log Holder at a flea market

Ok_Technology_9488

Oh that’s smooth lmao

LizZemera

you can come with anything if you're brave enough

AnyElephant7218

“You care more about other people than anyone I’ve ever met in my life.” Still chokes me up when I think about it. I do care a lot.

Disastrous_Main_3294

“You’d make a great father some day” it’s my dream to be a dad someday

Because-Leader

I love that. Have you considered being a mentor?

allykyo

You're really easy to talk to

wafflewizard85

"You have the ability to make people feel seen and heard"

merlinites

literally just yesterday, i found a dead cat in the road on my way to work. i pulled over and picked him up in a towel and set him in my barn, he had no collar or microchip but i posted about it on my local lost pets page on facebook. someone that i told irl about it said i was ridiculous and “too soft” for not leaving it in the road. but someone commented on the post “thank you for being so kind to give the kitty the dignity of a final resting place, not just left in the road as road kill. you’re very kind for doing this, i wish there were more people like you” and lemme tell you that comment almost made me tear up lol. no one claimed the kitty, it was a very skinny intact male so likely a stray, so i buried him. i would just hope if something happened to one of my kitties someone would treat them with the same care

JuJu-Petti

As someone who has to pull over to the side of the road because I cry when I see an animal that's been hit I want to say thank you for your kindness. You have a good heart. Don't let others spoil it because they don't. 🫂

Far_Breadfruit_6537

This is beautiful. Thank you for giving the kitty his own place on earth even when his presence wasn’t there 💗

farbener

I started growing out my beard and had 10 random people tell me it looked good. Never felt better

MoonAndRocks

I work at a hospital and I was talking with an 86 year old woman whose heart was starting to give out and she also has a stroke years prior. One day she told me my smile made her heart happy and that she looked forward to seeing me everyday. I think about that all the time

velcroshell

Sparks a memory. The last time I spoke to my 98yo grandmother (I didn’t know at the time), I said “I love you grandmother” and she looked me square in my face and pointed at me with every syllable “Honey, love you too.” Unforgettable.

No_Conflict_3633

“You are handsome”

AndreiC-VA-M

Mine too🤝🏼

AipomNormalMonkey

"god I could watch that all day"

[deleted]

“You matter” I know it’s meh. But I got it at a time that I fucking needed the reminder.

SoftlySpokenPromises

Was working the front desk at a doctors office and a special needs patient looked at me and just called me pretty. For context, at the time I was an overweight 20 something guy. I think that was the first time I'd ever had a compliment on my appearance, and for it to come from someone who realistically had no filter was kind of nice.

HeartonSleeve1989

You should do stand up.

mykneescrack

I recently got this from a colleague. It was nice to know I make her laugh, genuinely.

HeartonSleeve1989

The surge of endorphins you get from entertaining people is euphoric!

Cautious-Training547

“He said you’re a good person…not just because of what you do, but because he can just feel it.”

Fun_Mistake4299

Somebody called me "a good colleague" last week. I think that's the best compliment I've ever gotten.

Pretty_Bowler2297

“I like your bulge.”

Deree3190

Lmao, I wasn't expecting one like this. What's the context? Where were you when you were told this? 😂

SelectiveScribbler06

Obvious question. But this is Reddit. What bulge?

Pretty_Bowler2297

I think she was referring to my ding dong!

JustMyThoughtNow

We were on a cruise. At one of our dinners, we were seated with 4 other women. Great conversation. Near the end, one of the women, a former army officer, looked at me and said “you have a very honest face”.

Mindless_Flamingo532

When I was 18, a girl told me I was a beautiful man. 28 years later and I’m still riding on that high.

DrShakalu2006

A girl told me that I reminded her of Larry David. I'll take that as a compliment any day!

PositiveCompetition8

i’m studying for a degree in harp performance rn and anytime i see anyone tearing up over my music i feel so giddy inside

Tasty-Jacket-866

A little girl on the bus got her mum to tell me I was so beautiful I looked like a princess from a Disney movie 😭😭😭 she thought I wasn’t real because I was “glowing” (sun was hitting me good 😂😂).

Fun_Marketing_4253

On dress like your favourite person day, two 9f my students came in with braids, floral shirts, and black pants (staple outfit for me). Touched me so much 💜

xanadude13

When a random woman stopped me on the street once and said "you must get this all the time..." (I don't) "but you are very handsome." I was speechless.

workhard_livesimply

"Success looks good on you"

Chrissyjustshowus

Got told once I was “handsome”

Ok_Technology_9488

You have nice skin. I could listen to you talk all day I love your voice . A random at a bar said the first and my future wife said the second

iloveyoustellarose

"you're gorgeous, by the way" he said it so genuinely... I've been complimented before and I always accept but it never feels that genuine.

crem_flandango

"You have the kindest smile". Fucked me up.

beautifulbuzz83

I had a FWB situation for a while. The dude was in a phase of his life where he was only looking for casual short term and I was fine with that. But then he texted me again. Apparently I had given such good head he couldn't resist contacting me again. This touching anecdote clearly needs to be made into a romcom.

insurgent117

i got so many comments to this but this one made me chuckle out loud at work

himitsunorakuen

Someone told me years ago that my current hairstyle suited me so well that I haven’t changed it all this time.

fuzzypie-

“i love your bangs!” or “i like your outfit!” or “i like your bag! do you sell them??” i had worn my crocheted sunflower bag to target for the first time ever

SpudGun312

I was once told that my face was too nice for violence.

weezeloner

Whenever someone compliments my hair. Enough people have told me so I truly feel like I have nice hair. Enough people have told me, that if my wife is with me she just rolls her eyes and says, "Trust me he knows." While I just say thank you. I also love when my wife's wedding ring gets complimented. Stranger: Oh wow, your ring is so beautiful! Me sitting there with the biggest grin on my face waiting for my moment. Wife: Gesturing towards me...He actually helped design it. I gave the jeweler a general idea, he was the artist. It came out really good and we used diamonds from my mom's wedding ring to my dad. Also, used diamonds from my wife's grandmother. Only one of the stones is of a good size. The others are tiny. But it catches the light well and shimmers.

TheLoneSculler

I've got two. I got told by my gf at the time that I gave really good hugs. The other was when I returned to my university rowing club in September 2020 after 6 months of cycling up a lot of hills and the first thing everyone said was "How have your legs got even bigger???"

Z_zk

Giving a good hug is a very underrated skill.

Vivid-Soup-5636

Had an airport employee tell me I was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. Proceeded to say “and I’m a gay man, not trying to pick you up”.

Malbranch

"You make a very genuine effort to tear down walls between you and other people, and are very open to them and their experiences." Felt seen. It was definitely one that stuck.

Frau-Pfau

I worked for someone who had a few other direct reports and he once told me, "I want you to know I read your emails first." We were a global team with lots of emails flying, so it really meant a lot to me to hear how much he valued what I had to offer.

mykneescrack

“You’re not a bad person”. It’s something I doubt often, based on things that were said to me in my childhood. I still struggle with it when situations pop up, at work or in relationships, wherever. Even if I’m sure I’m not in the wrong, I end up thinking it’s because I’m a bad person. Someone I work with told me “you’re not a bad person”, when she was giving me compliments on a night out; we were having a heart-to-heart. I never disclosed any of those thoughts to her before, so I was surprised she said it. It meant a lot to hear it from someone. I’ve rescued a few injured birds (a crow, few pigeons and a magpie), and I’ve had a couple of people tell me that they wouldn’t have done that, and that it’s kind of me to have. I think their words help with the whole “bad-person” thing, but I always think they would help an injured animal if they were in that situation, they just don’t know it.

Far_Breadfruit_6537

You sound wonderful

PetulantPersimmon

I came out of my dorm and nearly ran into a friend in the hall. He whispered, "You're beautiful," in the most stunned voice, like he didn't mean to say it out loud. (It wasn't a compliment I'd ever gotten before!)

Public-Addition9263

I never received a compliment

ComprehensiveHawk129

I named my daughter after you

[deleted]

I'm 57, male. This post made me realise that i never get compliments. Sure, some work related "well done's". But a compliment aimed at my personality or physical appearance? Absolutely never. And that includes my wife of 30 years. The last thing that could pass for something of a compliment made by her was "you work hard for your family", 25 years ago. But well, what i value the most (by lack of better) is that several of my clients told me that they can feel i'm truly interested in them as a person, their company, their problems and in finding what would be the best solution for them too. I work with entrepreneurs facing severe financial problems or even bankruptcy.

CS500

Last December, I was at a big Christmas party with a bunch of journalism students like myself, several of whom were in my class. I was moderately drunk as was everyone else and having an amazing time. One girl, in my class, who is very beautiful and kind, told me that night that she really admires what I do, thinks of me as a proper journalist, was happy that I'd made friends with her since we met, and also thought I looked sharp that night, all in a row. As recently diagnosed autistic guy, who had a lot of mental struggles earlier that yr, those compliments felt great: what's more, is she has a longterm boyfriend so it felt great in a purely platonic way too, that a girl that beautiful, kind and cool felt comfortable enough around me to say that.

Aight4RealTho

"Dang man, youre a good singer! Like, dont go trying to make a career of it or anything but for karaoke you're golden!". Thats all I can hope for lol

barbie399

Husband told me I am the dumbest and smartest person he knows.

Unhappy_Raccoon664

"Mas pogi ka sa kuya mo"

Chrissyjustshowus

Got told once I was “handsome”

User-1967

Think you got told twice

Chrissyjustshowus

How would you know ?

User-1967

You told us

Chrissyjustshowus

Lies I only been told once ha !

NaiveOpening7376

"ur message played on my sound bar... OMG you should be a sex line operator".

worm-

One time ,I was in subway getting food for the fam and this lady said I had the prettiest feet she had ever seen. The funny part, I had been limping for like 2 weeks because my foot had been killing me (gout or something). Just found it hilarious, the only compliment I have ever gotten on my feet was while I wanted to sever one of them off.

Defiant_Chapter_3299

"When you see her just don't stare at her too much. She doesn't like it cause she's REALLY pretty. But bro i mean she's REALLY PRETTY WHAT DO I DO?!?" Been 2 years since I've heard that and it STILL makes me feel good. Im used to being called hot, sexy, beautiful, gorgeous, never PRETTY.

Sad-Distribution-380

I'm a 20 y/o man. In high school a girl that I was somewhat flirty with but was mostly a friend told me I was "beautiful" and as far as I could tell, she genuinely meant it. Rarely do I have conversations like this but when asked what the best compliment I've ever received was, that's my answer.

Mr-Gumby42

From and upper boss..."You're a wizard at what you do."

Tyler_Broseph

I was working as a server and as I was clearing plates from the table, a customer said “oh you’re dexterous!” and that’s always stuck with me. Someone called me “surprisingly well-adjusted” and I think that’s probably my favorite

SophisticatedN69

the timing of this post is impeccable. I just now received acompliment from my crush. " youre the best at explaining things that people love to hear".

Pinellas_swngr

My old Scotch uncle once wrote in a letter that he remembered watching me as a child and admiring my sense of fair play. I got that gene from my dad.

Spear994

"Damn you clean up nice." I didn't know at the time that the woman who told me that was a porn star.

Fantastic_Bother_685

“Have you ever been on magazines? Your face is beautiful” I was too happy 🥹

WTF_is_wrong_wit_ppl

Being told that I'm to ethical for this society we're living in.

Big-Routine222

"You make any room feel more stable and calm."

blisterless

Someone told me once that I have a kind soul

User-1967

Every summer when I’m in dresses or skirts one of my colleague never failed to tell me I have nice calves , I’m usually in trousers

Missmustang817

Was called “corazón con piernas” a heart with legs for the way I care about people

IzzyWizzygetsbusy

In primary school a boy told me that my eyes looked like chocolate, then said he loved chocolate. Still remember it 20+ years later

BKnutzen

I’ve seen you learn and grow a lot and it’s been really fun to watch

Optimal-Ad-7074

someone I knew only slightly told me one day "I was in the cross teams triage today and we were going through bugs.   one of yours came up and I said "that's (me)" the moment I saw the title."   I'd never worked with his team.    I still use that in interviews when they ask me "what makes you stand out from everyone else?"   lol and one time my sister and I were in the same room and I suddenly said "you know, not enough people like and approve of me" and she went "I do"  like she was slightly surprised it was even a thing.

NeighborhoodNo3570

You’re the cutest person I’ve ever met. Honestly haven’t had a compliment ever hit me like that.

Jane_Austen11

I love your smile 😊

pancakecel

A kid at high school told me that I have beautiful eyes. Did not know him well. He was popular and a hottie. I did not have a crush on him. It just meant a lot coming from a 'cool' kid.

amorousgirl

I was told by a patient I had kind eyes. Idk why that meant so much to me.

kittyquickfeet

I was once asked if I was an Alvin Ailey dancer, I found that pretty flattering of a nod towards my physique back then. I get told I'm beautiful/have a nice smile alot but I don't think I look like today's modern women. However z n I agree with the smile compliment, hell, I love my own smile, just to toot my own horn a bit

PitBullFan

It didn't come to me directly, but a guy told my Dad "I like talking with your son. Whenever I ask him a question, he pauses for a moment before answering. He's thoughtful and NOT at all impulsive." I was 15 at the time. My father was so proud.

Footmana5

OMG one of these pitty party posts again. "About 12 years ago a girl told me she liked my Scrappy Doo shirt and even though it has holes in it I still wear it to this day hoping to get another compliment." This isnt healthy to loop constantly with these pathetic topics of discussion, all it does is dig you guys into a deeper hole of depression.

CatacombsRave

I’ve been told that I’m good to be around when people are sad or grieving. That means a lot.

Beerandbonfire83

At a get together the other month an old friend I hadn’t seen in years said, I only came because I heard you were. And we got to catching up and he said that’s the thing about you, you’re just real, I knew you would never change. It really made me smile.

Sivitiri

Still waiting

Jefflehem

I worked in construction, and I used to do a lot of crossword puzzles on my lunch break. A guy I worked with told me I did them so fast, I looked like I was writing a letter to a friend.

Bur_Nerd

someone told me recently that you never know what you're going to get with my style but that you can tell I'm always having fun. It wasn't shade because I dress weird but I do bounce between a few aesthetics/styles. I may be dressed like a little skater punk one day and preppy or dressy the next. It was nice!

Little_Tie_3382

I was in P-Town and i saw some trash near where i was sitting and just grabbed it cuz i didnt know if it was mine or not, and i was raised to leave places nicer than i found them. Some random woman watched me do it and then when i walked back from throwing the trash away told me that i was a good person. She just said it with such certainty that i was really shocked and embarrassed

Over_RiseTheMemes_XD

"i'm proud of you" ( my crush ) ( i disappointed her )

discretefalls

"you have quiet confidence" i got this compliment from a preceptor out on PA school rotations and it meant a lot to me because i'm introverted and that's looked down upon with working in healthcare

SavingsEuphoric7158

I’m very outgoing.I have beautiful eyes 👀

TriRedditops

"Those sunglasses look good on you" - a coworker as we passed on the street outside the office. She passed away a few years later but I always remember that comment.

ADHeDucator

"You're so elegant." It was shocking cuz i usually feel like a frazzled mess

doubtsdoubtingdoubts

Versions from different people at work and in personal life, you’re a nice person or kind person. Because I take shit from people and go extra miles. While growing up, I was apparently a disgrace to the society.

Fam_Specialy

Someone once told me that my presence had a calming effect on them during a difficult time in their life. It stuck with me because it made me realize the impact even small gestures of kindness and understanding can have on others.

Worried_Place_917

a hot summer day back when I was in shape, I was on a run shirtless. Ran past a couple on the sidewalk, and barely still in earshot heard her tell him "you should run more".

dissolvingsuns

At my local grocery store, there’s an employee who is very conversational. One day I was buying flowers for my boyfriend and this employee was wrapping the bouquet. We were just chatting and he said, “Whoever these are for is such a lucky person. You just light up the room.” I had been going to the store for years. I know he wasn’t flirting because he talks about his husband very often. It was so kind.

Odd-Hyena-9704

You guys are getting compliments ?

Less_Instruction_345

Had to give myself an enema prior to a colonoscopy. During the procedure the doctor asked if I did the enema myself. I said yes. She said it was one of the best she had ever seen.

ClownfishSoup

"If you were any other man, I would kill you where you stand" Lt. Worf said this to me ... no wait, nevermind, it wasn't me.

Alaska1111

“You’re very naturally beautiful” as someone who has never worn any makeup

Altruistic_Seatbelt

You have an unnatural allegiance to losers that are not like you

AnAdultAnswer

I was at a company for 10+ years. One day a guy I worked with got fired for being very inappropriate with many women. I was asking one of my female colleagues about it and she was telling me some of the really inappropriate “jokes” he used to say (not what got him fired). My response was “oh I’ll be careful with my jokes”. She looked right at me and said,”I’ve known you for 10 years and know you are a good person. One awkward joke wouldn’t change that “ How you treat people matters

JuJu-Petti

A very small little girl told me I was pretty. I think she was three years old.

freebwc2u

I still hide you in my poetry. I'd of married that woman.

hottwap

My old drug dealer said : “You are not only beautiful on the outside your absolutely made of gold on the inside and you will have someone one day that treats you the way you deserve, he’ll see you and all your worth and never do anything to risk losing you , and I’m really looking forward to seeing that happen for you” Deep for a dealer lol

Shot_Educator_2470

A girl working at Chipotle told me she liked my hair. I haven’t changed my hairstyle since then

lughsezboo

“You are an old soul, with a young heart” it was so cool. And the person who said it was someone I admired. ❤️

Spicymargx

I worked in child protection for a long time and a child called me Miss Honey. I shed a silent tear.

General_Plastic_3610

An old lady at the grocery store told me I was “the prettiest lady I’ve seen in all my days”. Like holy shit, thank you old lady!!

Known-Photograph8457

Never had one 😃

Far_Breadfruit_6537

My father, who’s usually not very emotional always, said “you will be a great mother one day”. I guess in the way I take care of people around me. Still think this is one of the best compliments I have ever received, especially from Asian parents who don’t really compliment me much. 💗

Far_Breadfruit_6537

A girl once had complimented me and said wow you’re so beautiful!(I wasn’t feeling the best that day and I remember hearing that and feeling so good.) Something about a compliment from a fellow girl always makes me smile, especially that day :)

JudithAnnG

I’m a server. I was delivering food to a table that wasn’t mine. And this lady stopped me and said “you’re beautiful person. You have a good heart and your aura so gorgeous. I just had to tell you.” I just passed by. Made my year tbh.

box-of-cookies

After I got off a bus, a vaguely familiar woman behind me got my attention and said, "We don't know each other, but whenever you see me, you smile at me. And I can't tell you how much difference that has made for me. You're a lovely person. Thank you for changing my life." I didn't know what to do except blush, stammer, and thank her, and then we hugged. I've never seen her again, weirdly. It did prove to me that a friendly smile for a stranger can do amazing things.

WorriedPerspective65

My sisters look at me at random times and tell me. You are the best person I have ever met.

Appropriate-Toe-1332

Someone I used to work with said that I was crazy but not stupid. That is something I always wanted people to know about me and I was glad that someone understood.

Initial_Blueberry366

not the exact words but i've been told i have a bright aura and always smile-y

[deleted]

1 of male coworkers who I had no idea was interested in me (I was with my now ex the entire time of our friendship) met me up for lunch before he moved out of state & told me “I hope I’ll find someone like you in California but I know I won’t.” So sweet omg. I had no idea what to say. I just said “aww thank you. You’re so sweet” he was such a good dude. Wish I was attracted to him instead of my now ex husband

West_Opportunity4037

My now husband made several mixed songs and posted them to his YouTube channel. He also added images of me to the cover (the songs were remixes of the Fugees and absolutely bada**). He also mixes music by Freddie Dredd, Suicide guys, Etc and had a bunch of hidden messages for me embedded. This was all done while we were on a short hiatus. When he sent them over I immediately knew he loved me and cried out of joy. Supes corny but I loved it more than pretty much anything I’d ever gotten before.

livsd_

My mom - "If I get reincarnated, I want to come back as you." Parents don't always approve of your choices, but hearing that the life I live is one she's proud of and thinks is beautiful was wonderful to hear.

TheGreatiiist

"Hey you're hot!"

OldDancer57

"you have the brain for this" said by my math teacher in high school. I was making C and D in her class. I am now a computer engineer.

captain_ghostface

"I like your glasses" -some girl 9 years ago

Huge_Cow_9359

A co-worker was annoyed with another co-worker and was talking a little smack about her. When I theorized that she may have a reasonable explanation for what she did, she looked at me with a big, beautiful smile and said "Thats what I like about you, you always give people the benefit of the doubt." It made me feel good, because I would have never thought that anyone would think that about me. I thought of myself as a cynical person, but one who tried to figure out people's reasons for doing things.

Equivalent-Site-8758

“If you ever do something that you need to apologise for and promise to never do it again, you never do it again” really big compliment since we all make mistakes in life but you gotta rectify them

Informal_Cable_7086

I used to smoke cigarettes but quit 25 yrs ago. A beautiful coworker who I looked up to told me that seeing me smoke was like a "scratch on Rembrandt". That has always stuck with me, and I value the sentiment to this day. It reminds me of my beautiful friend. I'm no Rembrandt, but the compliment has stayed with me.

Jmiller4230930

I am 72. Last summer I dressed up in a beautiful halter dress and went out to dinner with my husband, daughter and son-in-law. We stopped at a bar afterward. The place was packed so I stood at the bar with my drink. A young woman standing next to me told me, "I love your dress." I thanked her and told her where I bought it. Later, as she was leaving, she turned to me and told me, "You are gorgeous!" It made my day.

SixTonsOfGranite

I was returning something at a store when I was a teenager and they asked me to sign and date the receipt or whatever and the woman said I had really nice handwriting. 15 years later, I still remember it.

toodlelootootsie

"You made me want to be a better person, then your actions taught me how" I don't think anything else will top that for me, I'll remember it forever. Be the change you want to see in the world.

BandicootComplete853

I was talking about aging with this random straight dude I used to work with and he was being sweet and said “you’ll always be cute” and phew I still think bout it to this day 🥲

ofansleaks

Blackie - Because of my skin colour. lol

pnwWaiter

'You should have been at our wedding' I knew them but at the time but didn't get close until shortly after they had a banger of a party in Vegas

dayangdayang123

I was outside talking to some friends, then 2 kids approached me. I thought I have some dirt at my back or they'll ask for money hahaha. Then the little kid said "You are so beautiful." I smiled and replied "Thank you." That's flattering because I was appreciated. During that time, I was loosing confidence because I am gaining some weight and felt like I was too ugly. I kind of felt validated. Like it was a sign that I am just thinking negatively about myself and that I should appreciate myself more.

Lurch1911

Got told by my friend today that even though my coworkers and boss give me a hard time to my face; behind my back they all say how much they like my work and enjoy having me as their colleague. It made me feel really valued and appreciated.

Ignatiussancho1729

An old lady saying I had beautiful color hair, and how she'd always wanted to be my color. I'm ginger and was ridiculed my whole childhood, so that was a nice change

playballer

In high school a girl wrote on my book cover that I was “sexy as poop” and that left a skid mark

[deleted]

“i’ve never met anyone like you. you deserve everything and more”

AcadiaInevitable9119

That I have a good soul 😌. It made me feel so seen.
