My brother recommended I watch Voyager. In one episode, a character named Q showed up. I'm guessing he was a recurring character in another series, probably a significant one. I asked my brother who he was and he was floored I hadn't watched Next Gen. I probably will some day, but right now I'm enjoying Janeway and the doctor.
I rewatch it right up to the Holiday party Lucy episode, and then I have to quit there because all the story arcs starting there on are some of the most bleak, heart-wrenching ones I think ever made (even though it is really, really good).
Always sunny, the office, peep show, people just do nothing, parks and rec. These shows are basically always on repeat on my tablet as background noise
I've got quite a few.
Supernatural
Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis
Big Bang Theory
King of the Hill
Every DC show done by Bruce Timm
Andy Griffith
Beverly Hillbillies
Green Acres
X-Files (minus the god awful revival seasons)
Unsolved Mysteries (the Robert Stack episodes, not the god awful 2000s remake)
The original Twilight Zone
Fringe , created by J. J. Abrams, without a second thought. John Nobel as Dr. Walter Bishop is absolutely the best! "Let's make some LSD", "“He fell right into her vagenda.”
Also watching for an 'Observer' in each episode, figuring out what the glymps mean, and who can forget the best 'villain' David Robert Jones (Jared Harris). Great cast and characters. Colonel Broyles (Lance Reddick), Nina Sharp (Blair Brown) and the elusive Dr. William Bell (Leonard Nimoy), one of his last acting roles) Peter Bishop (Joshua Jackson) and lead character Olivia Dunhan (Anna Torv).
If you get a chance do watch and watch for an 'Observer' in each episode. Sometimes in back ground, sometime just a quick walk-by, just watch.
Also one of the most expensive 'pilots' in tv history ($10 million to make) and as noted cost about $4 million per episode so the effects and filming are excellent.
The Back In Time series on ABC Iview. There's Back In Time For Dinner, Further Back In Time For Dinner and Back In Time For The Corner Shop. Very Australian and very interesting.
I haven't seen it here, so I must add King of the Hill. There are about 10 jokes per minute, and it's so topical somehow. Brilliant writing and voice acting.
Kitchen Nightmares (both the OG series and the new one)
(Do cartoons count? If so -) Avatar the Last Airbender, Legend of Korra, OG Scooby Doo
Ghost Adventures ❤️
Guy's Grocery Games
Diners, Drive-ins and Dives
Dr Who
There's so much more, lol

Same. Just started again this weekend
The X-Files
King of the Hill
Star Trek DS9, VOY, TNG.
South Park. Whenever nothing interesting is on I always check comedy central and hope for south park. I can let that shit run for hours.
There's something about the animation style and town that just makes it seem so homely and cosy to me
I've been rewatching again lately. SO good.
Whose line is it anyway?
Star Trek Next Generation
