I picked this up just the other day. I played the shit out of Red Alert 2 back in the day and wanted to scratch the itch - kinda bummed it hasn't been remastered.
There are so many games in that pack with varying reviews, and I only have so much time to devote to gaming. Is Generals the goat?
I have over 400 hrs logged on this latest download. No idea of total as I got it years ago on disc. The new download is pretty stable, but it's still buggy. I would love an update. Don't need anything fancy, just a bug fix and get the networking working smoothly.
I’m sad I didn’t have the same ‘Skyrim experience’ as all my friends and others when it came out.
I chose a lame fighting style (magicka) and the game soft-locked like 3 times. Ended up just dropping it and never finishing.
Revisited a few years later to try again but I just remembered how frustrating and lame it was to be stuck like that, finished and never touched it again.
I never went the magicka route myself before because I generally don’t enjoy playing that style. For me it was mainly sword/shield for close combat and longbow for the rest. Really enjoyed the stealthy side of the game with the dark brotherhood and the thieves guild.
Same. Amazing game.
But i played it is every way possible. I'm so sad I can't play it any more. I wish there will be some similar game released, with swords, armours, dragons, spells...
Mass Effect LE is so well crafted. I put off playing it for a very long time. Played it out of boredom one day and became addicted to the storyline. The diversity. The characters, their histories and backrounds. The Reapers. It was like finding a real world with real people that I actually started to really care about. My only regret... not playing it earlier. I replay often. My only hope is, that with things going the way they are in the gaming industry right now, that they dnt fuck up ME4. I will be devastated.
I was super later to the games too, just played them maybe a couple of years ago after getting into a game slump and my brother telling me to try them (I think he had just played an Andromeda trial (a couple of years after the game came out), so that was in his brain - he had played the originals back in the day). But wow I did not expect it to just totally consume me lol. My first playthrough was sloppy but still absolutely amazing, so good that I immediately started another run (I don't even think I lasted a week before I was hitting start again on ME1), and this time I followed a spoiler-free guide for the best quest order as well as best squad mates for convos (the first time I played, I messed up where I played the DLCs because I didn't realize they were DLCs and it messed up the flow of the game and also stuck with my go-to duo of Liara and Garrus for the majority of the time) and holy shit did that just elevate it even more. Now I've lost count of how many times I've replayed the trilogy, either trying to see new stuff and change things up (still constantly finding out about things I haven't seen before), or playing my canon run and then that's just kind of like wanting to rewatch a favorite movie, only it's a really long one lol.
>>>>
I don't know what to expect for 4 at all - I know what I want, but I don't know that what I want is what's best for the game because I just want to continue with what we already have, I just want more of it haha. But I'm also crossing my fingers that they do the series justice because with the trilogy itself, it's damn near perfection for me, and no other game I've played has come close (although I did just play dragon age for the first time, and that is a really nice comparison as far as something like ME, but still doesn't quite pull off what ME did (in my opinion))
I get you. Don't let graphics hold you back from s great game, but I actually get you. Sometimes it's too present to ignore. I'm also assuming mods are too much of a hassle (assuming PC)
Hoping for New Vegas Remastered for the PS 6
No Man’s Sky and RDR2. Nms if I want more mindless playing, RDR2 for when I wanna work my brain.
More recently but I keep going back: Starfield. It has issues but I love the lore. I learn more every time I play.
Started the franchise with d3 when it came out, loved it. Didn’t play for a few years, but got hyped for 4. We all know how that ended up when it came out. Still had the urge to play, so I tried 2 and holy shit it’s just leagues above 3 and 4. I keep trying to play 4 since the new season but I just keep going back to 2
D4 sucks ass. If I wanted a movie, yes sure it would've been great. But the gamplay loop sucks. I know some people prefer D2, and thats great and all, for them. I started on D2. But for me the sweetspot was D3. I was waiting for D4 to surpass D3, graphics and gameplay wise. I have never been more disappointed in my life. Only thing I dislike about D3, is how insanely long the seasons are. Its ridiculous.
Tomodachi Life.
Idk why.
Ive basically sucked all the juice out but I love to see all of my OCs (yes I made original characters without lookalikes, some of my sister’s favorites are Harry TheCutestGuy (HarrysHot) and Brad Flabbybutt).
Factorio. Every now and then I'll start it up, build a decent factory, start getting white science, build a bunch of artillery trains, then get bored again and stop. I wish there was a way to adjust the alien settings mid game. I don't want to start on a deathworld, but I'd love to get established then turn it into a deathworld.
That’s so true! It reaches a point where they’re just annoying to deal with but don’t pose any significant threat; except for your anxiety levels if you like to go AFK
Skyrim. It gets boring fast if you just steamroll through the same things, especially if doing a magic based run because everything but stealth archer build is broken and unbalanced, but there's something about going on adventures with my bro Faendal, getting in scrapes, having archery contests on bandits, sometimes we'd do it, but that's not important, just bro shit yknow.
Age of Empires 2. This one should be the winner. Its 25 years old, and is more popular than it ever was and was so beloved that it was remade twice and has seemed to overshadowed all of its sequels.
For some reason, there’s this mobile game that took all my attention, and i started to play it seriously like a very realistic driving simulator, Hill Climb Racing 2,
For me it’s literally the free version of Forza Horizon 😶
The sims. I go through cycles where I play for a couple of weeks and then don't even think about it for a few months.
I've been playing them since I was little, and it's one of my favorite games!
Loz windwaker. The story is solid, the graphics and art are timeless and beautiful, the attention to detail is superb, and the mechanics are easy to pick up. I could go on.
Minecraft, Ghost Recon: Wildlands, and Terraria.
I see some people saying Portal, and I like trying to beat my last any% speed run occasionally, though I’m far from professional.
I know this is a very unpopular opinion, but Mario Sunshine. I love the tropical vibe, the unique characters and music, that it’s sunny shine sprites you’re after, and it’s decently challenging (for me).
Not exactly in the spirit of the question, but I fell in love with Jedi Survivor this year and can't seem to get into a new game after it. Nothing feels as good to play, so I keep going back and messing around on Grand Master even after beating it multiple times and getting 100%.
RDR2
Command and Conquer Generals
Is there anywhere to get it online? I've been wanting to play it but don't know where my old disks ended up.
I just downloaded the ultimate pack (every cc game} for line 20 bucks. Either steam, or xbox, or right from EA. I forget

Minecraft. Once in a while I just get the urge to make a new server, build a home, and go on an adventure.
Minecraft is such a relaxing game. I love just collecting and building stuff.
Skyrim, been out for over a decade now, still pop in from time to time.

Play as a stealth archer, thank me later

Good taste! Username checks out.
Mass Effect LE is so well crafted. I put off playing it for a very long time. Played it out of boredom one day and became addicted to the storyline. The diversity. Saints Row 2, 3, and 4. They’re all great.

Great game. Classic. But sadly, I can't play it any more because graphics are too bad for today's standards.
I get you. Don't let graphics hold you back from s great game, but I actually get you. Sometimes it's too present to ignore. I'm also assuming mods are too much of a hassle (assuming PC) Hoping for New Vegas Remastered for the PS 6
