My life.
I married relatively late (32) in life. I'm 56 now. My wife had two grown children when we married, and I'm now Dad since their biodad checked out when they got divorced. I have three granddaughters that are freaking awesome. I have a job I enjoy working with my son. My wife and daughter work together for the same company. We see the grands on average every 3-4 days or so. We all get along and have a wonderful time together. My wife and I make a comfortable living, both in sectors that are generally recession-proof. Got 2 cats and a Plex server.
Life is good.
Dogs! I'm on holiday in my gf's home country, which means I'm away from my dogs. When we finally got to her childhood home and met her grandparents' dog, I was so happy to see a four-legged flood that I almost started crying
Two things.
That feeling you get when you're writing something and it's just absolutely flowing out with almost zero effort or thought required, like your brain is just reciting a thing it wrote subconsciously. And it's fucking good stuff.
The feeling of playing a scene with someone and both of you fall headfirst into it and all artifice disappears and you're bringing out the best in eachother. And the scene ends and everyone around you is stoked just from watching and cheering. When you do something and the director geeks the hell out...

Being able to make others smile. I know it's cliché, but it's true. I already have enough, I do art which Is cool, but I love spending time with others and getting them to smile.

Eerie music, subversive fashion, you & your surroundings being perfectly clean, genuine comfortable clothes, warm showers on a cold day, calm voices, crystals, stop motion videos, people crying of happiness, old people smiling, little kids idolising you, scarves that cover 75% of your face, sleeping dogs or cats, cuddling, huge stuffed toys that are 10x bigger than you, pen spinning, others feeling proud of you, finally finishing something you worked hard on, being madly in love and knowing damn well that the other person likes you back just as much, nostalgia, sally face (video game), ASOUE (a series of unfortunate events, tv show), gravity falls (tv show), Brooklyn 99 (tv show), comfortable chairs, clumsy people being clumsy, people wearing controversial fashion, old paintings, soup, being organised, waking up early naturally, long lashes, self actualisation, jumping on the bed, classic video games, way to many stickers stuck on an object, graffiti, acrylics, freshly dyed hair, HIMYM (how i met your mother, tv show), mist early in the morning, public places being perfectly calm and almost deserted, seeing young children enjoy their lives, homemade meals, big funky glasses, dark edgy books, fluffy tails & ears, coming home and dinner being ready at the table, coming home and seeing your pet super excited to see you again, terrariums, aquariums, fish, geckos, frogs, fruit flies, snapping centipedes in two to hear the crunch, the smell of freshly washed fabric or hair, chewing on gum, peach flavored candy, white rabbit candy, soft drinks, etc.. you can imagine im a very happy person.

Possibilities. When I don’t feel like anything is stable enough to count on to remain constant, I like to think of possibilities. There’s a chance I could have all of my dreams come true tomorrow. There’s a chance i’ll live out my worst day tomorrow. Whatever it is, it’s comforting. Whatever is going on right now, isn’t always guaranteed to remain tomorrow. Appreciate what is because you might be wishing for it the next day.
