came here to say this. in Romania, when communism fell in 89, the people killed off our leader and his mistress. Mainly because, the idea of “living equally” wasn’t really respected. Since people like my mom would freeze throughout the winter and kids of military commanders already had TVs and proper food.
This is the exact reason why communism will never work. There is no human that wouldnt get corrupted by having so much power and its too easy for someone to get in power and become a dictator this way. You just cant change human nature.

A failed state is a state that literally can no longer control its own territory and it’s government has no authority. Like Somalia in the 90s or Syria in the mid 2010s. It’s not a political term you can use to say “I don’t like the way my country is right now”.
Communism is an economic framework, like capitalism, feudalism and socialism. Not really a political philosophy, like democracy, theocracy, totalitarianism, fascism etc.
