I get where you are coming from and do sometimes struggle to understand why some women choose such disproportionately large implants but at the end of the day, there are likely just as many people into that particular look as there are people who despise it.
Why do people get tattoos, piercings or many other things that are not seen as “normal”? Because they want too.
I’m shocked at the number of people who are ready to put it down to some failing on the part of the person. You might not like it, but it’s their body.
For what it matters, I think that stereotype has kinda gone away in the 90s. We've had a lot of friends get boob jobs and the work now is really subtle and matches their frames well.
Why do guys get enormous trucks with lifts and off road tires? I'm sure some do it for attention while most do it because it satisfys some deep urge they want

The thing is, it's their body and they can treat it however they like. What's worse is using a term like "bolt-ons" which just sounds awful. I don't personally find obvious plastic surgery to be very attractive or desirable, but that doesn't mean it's objectively wrong. Just different.
I wish that women who were insecure would consider other options first. Feeling good about who you are naturally is healthy. But... if getting surgery will make you feel better about yourself... who am I to argue? I feel the same way about makeup. I don't care for it. Does it make you feel good? Then do it.

It took me many many years to understand that many cis women aren't doing makeup or beauty to impress a partner or attract someone. They're doing it for *themselves*. Like, for fun! That was a really important lesson to learn.
I still find the beauty industry to be terribly toxic and awful, but at least now I kinda "get it" a bit more.

Not all of them have a skewed view of themselves. When reading about some of the OGs who went for these looks back in the day when the smallest procedures got dragged through the mud, that's kind of the impression I got. A lot of us want to be conventionally beautiful and can't imagine doing this but some of these people start out that way and don't care for it. An uncanny aesthetic is actually intentional, maybe for themselves to express who they are, defy norms and stand out, or just to feel in control artsying up their bodies. We see that with folks getting wild tattoos and piercings too. And sometimes it's for the work they want to do in certain industries, and they might decide to take them out when they're done.

Because not all women are blessed with naturally big boobs and having smaller boobs can make them feel insecure so they go and get boob jobs to make themselves feel more beautiful, desireble and less insecure. I've always had big boobs but in my high school years i was covinced they needed to be bigger and even had push up bras. I was a C cup in High-school. But when I was older i stopped caring and now I have 38E boobs much to my shock. Yes they are 100% natural
