Ben Shapiro recommended that Trump name sure Biden take his full allowed time, but he didn't have to because the moderators kept encouraging Biden to talk more.

Talking heads on CNN and ABC both discussed "private conversations" amongst the DNC about replacing him within a mere 3 minutes after the debate. (This means (1) Joe had the questions in advance; (2) they worked in a bunker for 6 days to prep him for the performance he gave; 3) they took Obama's advice not to underestimate Joe's ability to fuck things up; (4) and the party wants to replace him.)
Seriously, the propaganda machine doesn't have that kind of mea culpa that quickly, unless they have already scripted what they are going to say. He's getting LBJ'd, but they needed his debate performance to convince him to graciously bow out in a moment of lucidity.

Well, Trump didn’t get the questions ahead of time like Biden did. With Biden’s first question, he clearly had a memorized answer. But then, he fell apart. His team who tried to prepare him for 6 days probably figured that out at day 4, then started leaking to the press. DJT was very gracious initially, but then took the gloves off when Biden went low.
He said "give me the pills" and they gave him Pez. Straight out of the dispenser no less. That was the sugar rush you saw at the beginning that lasted a full 30 seconds.
