Perhaps they just missed the mark with the previous VA? I dunno, I played Yakuza 7 and Kiryu's english VA seemed to have a deeper voice, which didn't quite fit in my opinion. I dunno how YongYea is gonna portray the voice, but I'm happy for the dude regardless.
