Forget BPD for a moment, it sounds like she’s gained some unhealthy habits (no offense to those of you who drink and smoke, I drink occasionally myself and could be reading that wrong.)
You mention too that she said she’d report you to the police if you harass her (their definition of “harassment” tends to include any attempt to contact them.) Harassment-related charges seem to be a common theme when it comes to pwBPD. I’d go back to NC due to that threat too. The last thing you need is to start to re-engage and for her to flip and start getting the police involved. It becomes your word against her’s, and that doesn’t always go well even when you’re in the right.
Probably not, there’s no apology in there. You just aren’t being viewed negatively at the moment. That could easily change.
If you find yourself suddenly unblocked, definitely use caution and consider just blocking at that point.

Ex’es would do that even if there is bpd involved. It seems like she held herself to acceptable behaviour even if the lack of eye contact suggests she found it difficult. Even this, it is not unusual, bpd or not.
