Sore. Boobs.

culle085

Oh also aversion to wine (NOT normal for this girl)

blondybee

Hahah wine was also mine!! It’s what prompted my first test!!

Low-Pollution2414

Yep - this was the biggest for me too. Mine have never been sore like that during a regular cycle.

suddenlystrange

In my first pregnancy it was the urgency to pee. Usually I can lay in bed on the weekend no problem without having to get up and pee but I couldn’t do that. This time I found out a few days before I missed my period so I didn’t have any early signs really. Once I tested positive my other symptoms were really strong sense of smell, period-like cramps and spotting (I’ve had a SCH both times). Then I move on to tender breasts, nausea, bloating and extreme food and drink aversions.

PollyBloom21

Same. I’d just be peeing all the time. I’ve never had an UTI so I thought at first I had that, but after some search, since I had no pain and discomfort…. I thought of pregnancy. I’ve found out I was pregnant 4 days before my period was expected to come. The line of the test was faint (and I had a chemical pregnancy before where is just faint and it does not get stronger), but after day 3, it was getting stronger so I was like “ok, I’m pregnant!”.

verbenabonnie

Me too - I woke up in the middle of the night to wee and tested positive the next day. I’m 25 weeks now and I haven’t slept through the night once since then!

NursePepper3x

Coffee aversion. Every time. So rude!

alexidawnnpnw

Extreme hunger (that quickly morphed into nausea).

apple-white-red

Exhaustion

Sore boobs

thick-woolensocks

Sore boobs. Went for a jog and they were noticeably uncomfortable and my nipples felt like they were chafing.

jmcookie25

My pee smelled like popcorn the day I tested positive (14 dpo). Extremely tender boobs. So tired, taking a nap or two a day. So hungry, couldn't get enough to eat!

wellokaythenmartha

Sore breasts and a positive test. I honestly thought I was going to start my period.

Lullaby-of-Flowers

I can second this. It really just all felt like my normal period signs then tada lol

brw828

Superhuman sense of smell kicked in way before a positive test. Also had nosebleeds and headaches that are uncommon for me.

run-write-bake

I went on a run and my mile pace decreased by 30 seconds despite my feeling like I was pushing my hardest. I didn’t even take a test for another 4 days (after I had “period cramps” that didn’t result in my period)

Professional-Dingo90

Heartburn, like insane heartburn where I was chugging milk while camping cause it just hit and I had no tums so I was trying anything for relief. And then a couple days later the sorest boobs imaginable which prompted my boyfriend to convince me to take a test cause I was still thinking my period was just late 😂

anniemay133

Exhaustion. I was playing pickleball with my husband & felt like I could fall asleep standing up. I thought it was because my period was coming…. We know how that ended up😂

faithfullyafloat

Nausea, burping, flatulence

asessdsssssssswas

Metal taste in mouth

sleepykitty299

at 3 weeks: extreme naseua every evening starting around 8pm

idlesparks

I, a normally perpetually cold person, was absolutely radiating heat. Then I started peeing every hour, on the hour, like clockwork. This was at 9/10dpo. Within the following week I became ravenous and quite easily fatigued.

GoodGriefStarPlat

In my first pregnancy insomnia with my second pregnancy I was really snappy, I thought my hormones with my period due was causing it but nope😅

County_Efficient

Burping!

Rude_Ad1392

I was driving down the middle of woods and could smell someone grilling steak from far away

CompetitiveLow5903

Exhaustion and bloating!!

Either_Sherbert3523

The only symptom I had that wasn’t part of my usual suite of premenstrual symptoms was a really severe headache, like a migraine (I never get migraines). I later read that headaches like this can be caused by hormonal changes. It only lasted a couple hours and then a day or two later I tested positive.

[deleted]

Felt like I was about to start my period for over a week, I felt sweaty and clammy, and I became much more hungry than usual.

Implantation spotting

AutoModerator

The phrase "Implantation" Bleeding is popular on conception forums but is a bit of a misnomer that causes some people to think that the bleeding is due to the embryo implanting. It isn't -- the embryo is only about 0.2mm in diameter at that point, and won't displace significant blood (or cause pain) when it implants. You bleed when progesterone levels in your body drop, which is why you can induce a period by stopping birth control pills (which contain progesterone) or by taking and then stopping progesterone suppositories or Provera (which are also progesterone). Progesterone levels dropping in the luteal phase can be caused by a) increased estrogen in the mid-luteal-phase estrogen surge, which briefly depresses estrogen production, or b) a decrease in progesterone when the corpus luteum runs out of gas at the end of the luteal phase. If b), and you're actually pregnant, your levels can drop briefly before the embryo starts producing enough HCG to tell the corpus luteum to ramp the levels up. Either way, luteal phase spotting can either be a neutral sign (in the case of mid-luteal phase spotting) or a negative sign (in the case of late luteal phase progesterone dropping), but it doesn't have anything to do with implantation, and is not a positive sign of being pregnant.
