At the time we needed one, but we just took my father-in-law’s. He had plenty and we are only hatching five,so if we get a few roosters or so, it’s not the end of the world. But I get what you’re saying. I know of a rooster farm that will take them but they are well over an hour away.
My favorite rooster just died. He was with my neighbors flock and we are both devastated. Father's Day he died. It was awful. We have 7 eggs of his in the incubator trying to get a cockerel from him. We just hatched 7 from him almost a month ago but got ALL pullets!! My rooster had mostly cockerels- go figure.
I currently have 9 extra roosters, wish I knew locals that needed them, I really don’t want to send them to freezer camp.

What do they actually do with them at the rooster farms?
Do you live near Ft. Worth Texas?
Unfortunately no, I’m on the east coast
We did the same thing ours died and we collected the eggs for a week and had 11 babies

Is that a dehydrator or incubator?
Incubator
Man being born is so crazy. This gave me some existential feels. Congrats on the new little ones!
