Make shadowheart go down shar route for more darkness
Make characters at least a multiclass of lvl 3 in warlock for devils sight until you get items that allow you to see in darkness.
Hang out in darkness and warch your enemies try ever so hard to reach you in it as you shoot arrows and spells through it.
