My first time in BKK, one of them monitor lizard (big one) was running towards me. I thought "this is how I die... Lizard chow" but at the last second it turned and dove in a pond. The locals that were watching were laughing one of them told me "He more scared of you".
Thank you for sharing
because i was born and raised in bangkok i saw such beautiful side and also not beautiful side but your photos show me more about this place that i didn’t notice :D
Great pics! Last year, I travelled to Thailand and I really love it here in Bangkok, and Chiangmai. I was thinking about moving to Bangkok and finding a job.
Totally. I'm trying to find a work solution myself. Hopefully will find something and stay out here traveling permanently. I hope you can make it to Bangkok :)
I'd like to know too, especially the lenses. These photos are gorgeous! Mostly because OP has the eye for great composition, but they must be using halfway decent gear too.
Sorry about that typo. I meant to say shot. 😂😂😂
Nice pics. They really look like Fuji pics. Now I’m interested in Sony because this is not what I expect from Sony.
Was there any post-processing?
Inspiring stuff for the ex-photographer in me. Gorgeous colors and compositions here, rainstorm! You ever do any professional work? You certainly have the eye for it.
I've made some money yeah. My savings have all but dried up so I'm currently looking for work that will allow me to stay out here traveling, hopefully something behind the camera. Thank you for the compliment, it's the ego boost I need right now.
Wow, so beautiful 😍 I got to live here for a few months while studying abroad and your pictures made me feel very happy. That's the city I fell in love with
Thanks for the pictures. Your post does not make it clear if you intend to be in Bangkok for an extended period. I now reside in Bangkok, and would love to find someone who is not a tourist and is interested in exploring the less known areas of the city.
I'm in Chiang Mai right now for a couple more months and then I'll be heading back to Japan for the rest of the year. I'd love to explore Bangkok more though, eventually I'll make my way back. There are just too many interesting places, no matter where I go I feel like I'm missing out.

Me too. I was really surprised as I had no idea they were there and I just saw one jump out of a tree and chase a cat.
Nice pics! That monitor lizard on pic 4… CHONK
I was so surprised haha
These are fantastic
Thanks so much
i lived in bangkok and i didn’t know it’s such a beautiful town like this! thanks for sharing.
Genuine question, how did you not notice beautiful places in Bangkok? They are literally all over the place

Thank you so much. That's a great compliment. I really appreciate it.

Porta 400?
Sony a7r4 and edited on lightroom. Never have shot film.
It's beautiful. As soon as I saw the first two pictures, I was like wow this is special
Wow, I thought these were film too!
Those are some very impressive shots 👏 shows a different perspective to Bangkok city, different to what tourists usually know. Great work 👍
Thanks so much. That's what I was aiming for.
So beautifully portrayed 😍
Thank you. All I had to do was click the button, everything here is already so picturesque.
Hey, which camera and lens you're using for such beautiful photos?
I'd like to know too, especially the lenses. These photos are gorgeous! Mostly because OP has the eye for great composition, but they must be using halfway decent gear too.
a7r4 with a sigma 28-70 2.8. Thanks so much.

I’m sensing that these were shit with a Fujifilm camera
Actually they were shit with a sony

Yeah I edit everything through lightroom.
how did you know what he was going for lol. Anyway great pics!
Nice colour grading and compositions.
Thanks very much. I'm trying to improve.
How is this camera a higher resolution than real life
Upgrade your real life to the latest version, problem solved...
New update just dropped
Hahaha 61 megapixels will do that
Lovely snaps! ☺️
Thank you!

But the ones in Chiang Mai are "Nice pictures 📸"? hahaha

I love the color tone.
Me too. The light here is so golden that it really makes the colors pop.
These are some of the best picture of Bangkok I've seen. Thanks for sharing :)
Thanks so much :)
Op loves my neighborhood
Which is yours?
Great captures. Really enjoyed these.

Amazing photos! Also the size of that monitor lizard lol
He was a big boy. I was worried he might be a bit hungry.
This post hurt; I must come back.
I hope you will!
I am shifting when I'm coming I think. I usually come Feb/March. Will be targeting November next year as things start to cool.
You have a good eye, these were nice to look at.
Damn I miss this city!
I wonder why...
Hahaha, great pictures by the way!

Good job
Such beautiful colours. Takes me right back to my trip as well. BKK has gritty charm, enormous beauty, and oh god such amazing food! I love shot 14
It's a colorful city. Hard to take a bad picture there. I hope you can come back and enjoy it again :)
How did you get that kinda colour? It looks like old timey Kodachrome
Just edited on Lightroom until I liked it 🤷♂️
Hope you saved them settings 😁 Very cool photos
