Sorry to raise the dead with this post. Anyone find a solution for this? I just lost a run of 140+ hours and save is nowhere to be found on Xbox nor Windows 11.

Have the same issue here. Saves disappeared after short game re-launh and a popup from gamepass with question - which version of save games should we use - i choose the latest available, it\`s empty now =(

According to ChatGPT: "Assuming you are referring to the game "Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord", the location of the save files for the Game Pass version of the game may vary depending on your specific operating system and installation directory. However, a common location for the save files for the Windows Store/Game Pass version of the game is: C:\\Users\\USERNAME\\AppData\\Local\\Packages\\TaleWorldsEntertainment.3132976C0F6D9\_1.0.0.0\_x64\_\_kfktn1shfz4zj\\SystemAppData\\wgs\\ Please note that "USERNAME" should be replaced with the name of your user account on your computer. If you have installed the game in a different location or are using a different operating system, the location of the save files may be different. In that case, you can try searching for the "wgs" folder within the game installation directory or using your computer's search function to locate the save files."

Unfortunately it's not saved there. I've been trying to figure this out as well. I cannot find the save file for the xbox gamepass for PC version of Bannerlord.

i looked into it for a while and it seems like xbox gamepass games use a cloud storage for savefiles. ill let u know if i can find a way to disable the cloud so that they work on local

Thanks. I even tried setting my xbox app to 'offline mode', but still can't find the save file anywhere locally.

carthous

I cant find the saved files anywhere. And with this last update it says it can't load any of my saved files now... So awesome \*I'm on Game Pass

Sneeringpython2

dude SAME in 2024. It's like they don't want me to find it or something...

Hello hello, The ChatGPT answer down below kind helped me, although it was as always, imprecise: On Windows 11 I found the save in : "C:\\Users\\$MYUSERNAME\\AppData\\Local\\Packages\\TaleWorldsEntertainment.MountBladeIIBannerlord\_$SOME\_RANDOM\_ID\\SystemAppData\\wgs" And my game is not installed on my C: Drive. So i reckon if you search for "TaleWorlds" or "SystemAppData\\wgs" inside the AppData folder you should findit

pitsza

thx for the answer! i founded the wgs folder but it doesnt have a savefile like the steam version(steam version is random.sav but this one just has 2 folders one named t \[probably i made it sometime ago trying it out but it has nothing in it\] and other is just a mess of numbers and letters) so what should i do now? edit:well i got into game and made a savefile and then tried looking its name up in appdata/local/packages and then appdata/local but it founded nothing so i dont think they are stored there

SmittyWerbenJJ1

hey man, when u open the wgs folder, open the one with the numbers and letters as its name, not the t one. Then open the first folder in there (should be just numbers and letters too), this should be where your save games are! But they are just named as numbers and letters, watch out for the times they got changed for the last time. Because they have the same time and date like your saved games. So look up on which the date and time you saved the games, and the data with the same time and date should be the save your searching for.

do you know it?
