1. We were dominant not very long ago and rubbed it in their face. It's their time to rub it in our face. imo, I believe in being humble but totally okay if others are not so
2. They believe (with some reason) that some of our UCL wins were due to referee mistakes
3. Laporta talking so much is not helping
4. We believe in a certain way of playing. At the same time, we should respect the way other teams play. This is another point which makes others hate us.
5. The Negreira case rightfully makes us look like frauds

We've always been one of the top teams in La Liga, but in Europe it's a different story. By the time we won our first Champions League in 92, Bayern had 3 in the bag and various other second place finishes. Real Madrid, no need to list their numbers. Man United had also won it. We one one CL and we started calling ourselves the "Dream Team". We had another wonderful decade 2005-2015 but other than that we're not a team that competes well in Europe but present-day young fans talk of our team as we're at the level of the "legendary" ones. We're not, and we need to keep fighting every day to live up to an unliveable standard. Chelsea on the other hand has been a recent addition (kind of like us) but we also have our history being matched against each other in the knockout stages, with questionable refereeing or late minute winners. I think their beef with us is justified because if it had gone the other way round we'd hate their guts.
One other thing that contributes to their hatred in my humble opinion is that when we've won the CL, we've done it with a football style that made all the pundits drool (maybe except a few haters), and we completely dominated most teams regardless of who was playing for them. Also, most of the time with a significant portion of our squad with academy players. Bayern knocking us out the way they did must have felt like sweet sweet payback.
And there's the other obvious reason: we're fucking annoying as fans, and sometimes come across as if we think we play some sort of morally superior style of football. Call it total football, call it tiki taka, call it whatever, we always think we play "the beautiful game" and disregard other styles as more brutish and unrefined. Well you're gonna annoy some people going about it like that. Especially when we ourselves are not even a shadow of what we preach. We can't string more than a few passes against top tier competition these days. Against Madrid we could barely come out of our own half via passing (compare that to peak 2000s/2010s Barça).
Its true, all my friends always mock me when barca loses, now that might be because i talk a lot of shit, but when i get back at them movking their teams its always "4-0 haha" or "8-2 you suck" and now it 6-4 for the psg game and 3-2 for el clasico.
