I know it’s personal preference but I hate when gloves are wrapped like that. It looks bad and I like my pockets wide as can be. Especially if you’re an infielder I would hate a pocket that small. You can form the pocket just fine without the bands by just hitting it with a mallet and playing catch.
I plan on doing it via catch - but it was so dry and hardened and was opening like greeting card, so this is actually just to help regain the flexibility. I pitch or play outfield in softball, my knees aren’t built for grounders anyway.
That being said, it’s been a while since I even played outfield, and even longer since I broke-in or brought a glove back to life — so any suggestions I’d appreciated. Thank you!
AMG-400? My glove knowledge is minimal. Ball has a habit of not quite landing in the webbing pocket (some of which is user error, some of which is the way it DOESN’T flex, so I’m trying to make it close more securely

Dunk that thing in water , reshape , gold the hinges ..dry 48 hours , condition leather. Finish break in
Also wondering if it’s time to think about new laces
