Let's be honest, your shot is ugly AF. The real question is, does it go in consistently? You want to do whatever you need to do so you have consistent positive results. If your free throw percentage is terrible, doing the underhand thing might not be a bad idea, but if your current percentage is good, don't change anything regardless of what your shot looks like. I've seen people with the ugliest form that seem like they can't miss and I've seen people who have textbook form that can't make a shot to save their life.

Does it help you make more free throws? If yes, you probably should master it. If not, don't bother. And for normal shots, this form makes it really easy to block, so I wouldn't suggest it
