like every game in the earth phase, let's not pretend that kamiya didn't make bayonetta with the intention of being the female devil may cry because that would be extremely hypocritical
I mean, Kamiya is the one who created both of them.. so that’s not the same thing as [Hoyoverse ripping things straight from Bayonetta & DmC](https://youtu.be/kXsYyKNglwk) at *all*.
Honkai Impact 3rd, another game by them literally copies bayonetta in that the character you play as slows time on dodge. She also charges up her power bar to unleash her special, where all her attacks summon giant appendages to swing.
Did I also mention she attacks with dual pistols and fires off a shot whenever she swings?
Inspirations? More like copying ideas. These chinese company almost copy every hit/popular game to ever release. From BOTW open world and mechanics and now bayonetta WTF, I saw a gameplay of somehow same combat as known for platinum games. The witch time, and wicked weaves.
I played BotW, TotK, and Genshin, and the only things that would be even remotely similar would be gliding, climbing, and grass. The map itself is also drastically different.
How about cooking? I hear that its pretty similar as well? And btw who is the character that slow times when dodges and also summon limbs and arms like wicked weaves?
For cooking, BotW/TotK is not the first game to have cooking as a mechanic, and it's not going to be the last. Many, *many* games have it as a mechanic, even Skyrim's Survival Mode (Anniversary Edition only) has it.
In Genshin's case, you can only cook if you have recipes (earned from quests, bought from shops and other vendors, etc.), and the ingredients to make said recipes. Then, you partake in a short, easy minigame which will affect the quality of the dish. Get it perfect enough times (which varies depending on the recipe), then you can auto-cook it for the best results. You don't just toss any materials you want into a pot like in BotW/TotK.
As for Honkai Portable 3rd (which is what I'm assuming you're talking about), I've never played that game, so I don't plan on judging it.
Lets be real, hoyoverse pretty much rip off every single thing under the sun
Yo they HATE melanin

Did you really try to say kamiya ripped off kamiya? Man ppl really let their emotions get the best of them

There were also some copied animations from Nier: Automata. They pretty much just get stuff from every famous action game.
What the fuck? Are you retarded? The devs that make DMC is from his team and he also develop that game.
Phantylia from hsr also gives me some vibes.
And kafkas ultimate
first one is just black hair n glasses, second is just black clothes and water lmao

See, Inspirations? More like copying
hoyoverse basically steals games and then adds gambling
Maybe I’m reaching a bit here but Eula from genshin impact dances while she fights, which is also likely inspired from bayonetta
