True story: I once had a beetle fly into my mouth. I quickly spit it out, but not before it emitted some sort of terrible-tasting chemical on my tongue. The weird thing is that for months afterwards, I would randomly get "triggered" and I could vividly taste the bug juice again. I'm not sure if I was in the vicinity of other beetles or what, but it was really strange.
There is a beetle called Epomis beetles that try to get frogs to eat them. They then paralyse the frog and eat it. Keeping it alive and fresh while it does so.
