Im thinking Australia, they have trucks with up to 4 trailers in length

Lililokorginal

Sometimes even longer they are prime example of size matters

luddite86

Not very often are they longer. It’s a common misconception from people overseas that we can just keep adding trailers as we need to. That is not the case. The max is 4 There was a company that ran 6 side tippers back in the day. They were 2 B-triples hooked together with a dolly. But I havent seen a setup like that in something like 20 years We have a thing now called “Performance Based Standards” (which I H A T E, but that’s another story) in which you can theoretically throw as many trailers as you want on there, provided you can pay the government enough for it. With that I’ve seen large companies take road trains into the east coast capital cities, which was unthinkable not too long ago. But if *I* did that, I’d be facing the firing squad at next dawn. I hate PBS

Knot_a_porn_acct

Sounds like a skill issue on your part

luddite86

Man, paying off what is basically a government bribe is not a skill haha

Knot_a_porn_acct

Idk, seems like you’re not performing like the big companies 😂

luddite86

If one man was able to outperform a multinational corporation, that one man would be wasting his talents being a truck driver

luddite86

Nah, looks too long for Australia. Which sounds ironic considering it is true we are allowed multiple trailers. And it’s funny for me to point out if you put more trailers on it, it would probably turn out legal haha But as it is, with one trailer, it would be over length. A combination like that is supposed to be capped at 19m

Most-Presence-1350

the double trailer, its quite usual in europe. The front cabin extended not so much. If you slap the short frame in there, totally legally in europe, not sure if those american rigs are street legal in europe.

Most-Presence-1350

Lililokorginal

It’s not really a double trailer because cabin and 1st load box (idr how it called) is one long thing.

Nairda-_-

I have seen something like the thing you showcased in Europe. But the truck itself is shorter, and it's not a trailer on a dolly, rather something on a special tow hitch

Most-Presence-1350

call it whatever u want, i see 2 trailers, that 1st trailer coupled with the cabin is glitched, as in cliped together, its not a real thing. and has i said, a smaller cabin frame (eu legal) would probably not clip with the trailer. but looking at it, looks dope without the 2nd trailer, like those fancy home trucks.

Lililokorginal

I mean by this vehicle lore aka my schizophrenia is rising the whole vehicle is one big home truck or how it also called motorhome so you are kinda correct about home truck and also again by the truck lore “trailer” and cabin is not glitched but rather connected together.

Lililokorginal

It’s just kinda to bad that we still don’t have moterhomes and especially for truck

_Cow_of_Wisdom

I'm pretty sure they are street legal, but they aren't used in europe due to length restrictions.

Most-Presence-1350

europe restriction, make it street ilegal. ![gif](giphy|pXMTRqu4SvaCY|downsized)

_Cow_of_Wisdom

Oh. I thought there was a specific reason instead of just "america bad".

budswa

Nope. In Australia too. They have much bigger ones in Australia. Look up 'Land trains'

Most-Presence-1350

but upside down right?

budswa

Somewhat

Desperate_Mine9606

Good ol’ old dominion doing its thing…

GamingYouTube14

I don’t know but I’ve seen a few American trucks here in Italy, I think they had an American liscense plate too?

flopjul

Its to due with the length if the truck is within legal lengths than its allowed(if the combined length is within 25.25 meters)

Epicfacecanada

Here in Canada while tandem steer, tri-drive trucks pulling a trailer is legal, that particular setup is much too long. The max allowed length for a regular trailer combo with a tridem drive truck is 23.5m overall. There is a case for B-train tandem trailers to be allowed up to 27.5m overall length.

Desperate_Mine9606

This chart deserves way more upvotes…

Epicfacecanada

This is a small part of a chart/map which lists all the weight and dimension restrictions in the province. https://publications.saskatchewan.ca/api/v1/products/83058/formats/95464/download

Desperate_Mine9606

It kind of wild that somebody(group) actually went though & charted all this out… I can only imagine how in-depth this handbook is…

Epicfacecanada

Well it is very important info especially all the different weight limits given weigh stations are a thing.

Loser2817

EFC, is that you? Your mods are amazing :D

Epicfacecanada

It is. Thank you.

Ok_Werewolf8143

Australia, we have road trains.

finribber

Finland

FluxGolem

Finland if the truck is max 13m long, also the max length for a truck + trailers is 33.5m in finland

mc__mauri

[These](https://www.traficom.fi/sites/default/files/media/file/76%20t%2034%2C5%20m%20in%20Finland.pdf) are very common in Finland.

ATJonzie

As long as it's street legal, you can drive anything in the U.S.

CrankyPantz88

They are pulling baby weights in U.S in scandinavia we are pulling almost twice the legal limit of the usa. There is a reason our trucks are more powerfull but some how americans make their trucks look bigger

mayhem911

>There’s a reason our trucks are more powerful but somehow americans make their trucks look bigger It’s comfort, longer trucks are a lot more comfortable to drive, and the US(and canada) is spread out more. Cab overs are much better to drive in a city, but much worse to drive on the highway. You benefit more from the former, we benefit more from the latter.

Skeeter780

Scandinavia is the size of like 3 US states bro. We haul heavy too, they’re just *relatively* less common since they rarely run for more than a day at a time. We also have 13x the amount of people to serve, so regular old long haul freight that the average Joe is comfortable pulling for multiple days is more common. Educate yaself

LifeDoBeBoring

Yeah I mean this kinda huge truck is kinda what I (as a European) associate with America

Lililokorginal

I mean 5k rpm is prob legal in U.S. (idk honestly)

Is_this_Sparta_

What do you mean by 5k rpm?

Lililokorginal

That i deleted rpm limit and now this truck can produce 5000 rpm and go somewhere around 170 km/h .

RunnerLuke357

Why would RPM matter? My truck redlines at 6k and it will never be "illegal" unless they ban non EVs or something weird like that.

Is_this_Sparta_

Yeah you can remove as many apeed limiters or rpm limiters as you want to here in the USA

Epicfacecanada

the rev limit isn't set because of legal limitations. It's so the engine can go millions of miles without it punching a new hole in the block.

DownundaThunda

That would be legal here in Australia.

BeamNG country

Aggravating-Boat5530

I think Australia has road trains

DryAd7453

litteraly everywhere.

Rudger_fendt103

Nope, especially not in Europe

BNKH_z_z

Australia

guicmg

Brazil

JoeyMohawk

Brazil for example

throwawaytomyass

Anything is legal if you don't get caught EDIT: road wise.

Mad_kat4

No where is *that* one working as the sleeper cab is clipping through the load area. But drawbar trailers are common in the UK and Europe however I would think that one would be over length requirement's.

West_Performer7505

In Finland you could do 3 trailers, and technically speaking you could drive that cabin here but realistically you wouldn't ever do that.

TrueyProot

Why is the sleeper clipping into the box and the wheels are mismatched in size?

ContentWhile

we recently allowed 35 meter vehicles and max 3 trailers I think here in sweden

KubaSamuel

*crossed out all European Countries* Let's get rid of that... Australia maybe?

looking_for_eft_buds

Is that a mod to add the extra steer axle?

Lililokorginal

2 mods one for second steering and one for 3 axels at the back

looking_for_eft_buds

Do you by chance know what they where called?

Lililokorginal

t-series drivetrain expansion and t-series tri drive conversion

looking_for_eft_buds

Thanks will download them now

tidyshark12

I doubt it'd be legal in many places with the front box literally inside the sleeper like that.

Commercial_Badger_28

https://preview.redd.it/c1vgyhcphgyc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fa49044caa3ecead09b307f0e343b455623252d6 This is my machine on what we use to move it around, it sits around 115 feet making it 35m consisting of the truck, jeep, low boy and a booster but here in Canada there are MUCH larger than this by far. Alot of our oilfield buildings are built in central/south central Alberta and then hauled up north on huge trailers with like 25 axles that all turn to get it around corners, plus a push truck or two behind it.

lol_xd872

it aint america

Beekyboy11

Canada I’ve seen people with 8 trailers

VinoPrince

Where can I get this car mod?!

Loser2817

T-Series Drivetrain Expansion for the extra axles.

furkaniskkrdik

In a few countries in Europe it's allowed to drive a really long combi, up to 32 or 34 meters long I believe.

Yerken7

Laws are for the weak 🤣

ContributionOk6229

australia

Hapyhusky

NZ and Australia surely, this is nothing compared to road trains

Anarkisk

Finland has some of this double semitrailers, but you’re not allowed to pass any borders…

malice427

We run turnpike doubles in the states. Two 53’ trailers on a truck. Not a lot of states allow it but the west does for the most part.
