Ive decided to do a brand of sacrifice tattoo (will be my first) both to honor Miura, and to always remind me that demons never go away, and that i must fight.

And as someone mentioned in the comments, there aren’t many pictures of him probably because he didn’t want to, so at the very least, we should respect that.
Also, this is a Berserk sub, not Miura appreciation sub. While he is the author, he is still not the main focus of the sub. The only reason why we mourn for him isn’t because we like him personally, we care about Berkserk. Absolutely none of us know anything about Miura personally, we only know him as the berserk author, therefore our only respect for him is because of his work, but not for who he was.

Regardless of whether we knew him or not personally, most of us can say that we have an appreciation of him as an individual for the work that he put out. So quit with the pessimistic 'we don't know him so we can't love him' schtick, because the reality is that he meant a lot to us.
That said Im not for changing the sub icon to a photo of him. If we were to do it, we should have done it a while ago anyways. Instead I think we should continue to embrace and celebrate his life's work as we have and are doing.
