The eclipse rape scene is literally so necessary to the story and dick horse also is to Farnese’s character development, I do agree that the pregnant women dying to birth to the orc things (I can’t remember what their name was right now) was a bit much. The berserker armor thing is completely untrue though, it’s such a perfect compliment to guts’ personality, and the fact that every time he uses it his friends have to pull him back is a great allegory for his inner hatred and how he needs people around him to remind him of what he’s fighting for.

I think it is also that femtho (or how you spell his name ) is basically Griffith but every aspect of him taken to the extreme, he seems to have feelings to casca pre eclipse but after it he probably only saw her as sexual object for him
